Yona of the Dawn, Vol. 20

Niece loves these.

I absolutely love this series, I just purchased 1-40 because I could finally do so and it is so worth it! The anime really just gives you a teaser about the grand scheme of whats going on and the volumes just build on it. Its filled with moments that have made me laugh, cry, and want to throw my book across the room haha! The characters are so well done and how they deal with all the complexities in the story is amazing and I cannot wait to purchase the new volumes as they get translated. (I plan on leaving this review on as many volumes as Amazon lets me)

This series never fails to impress me the next volume is always better than the last. The characters are still so awesome there are great moments with Yona and Riri and also the rest of the group. The story is great we start with Yona and Riri being forced to work after being kidnapped this starts their struggle it then moves to the rest of them trying to find Riri and Yona other characters get involved Su Won shows up so there is tension other things happen and Yona and Riri are still trying to find their way looking forward to reading more.

Yona and Riri are strong girls, I love their tag team they have going on. The sudden reunion of a certain clan was a great addition to the new character interactions which brought light to Yona and Suwon almost being character foils. Its almost like everyone dislikes him to a certain degree but cant help but be intrigued or to somewhat like him (myself included). But that cliffhanger was evil, I need to order more books again to see whats next.

So much is happening here. Riri and Yona are kidnapped and the four dragons split up to find them. Eventually Yona and Riri escape buy Yona gets hurt. I so feel that Riri and Yona would be a great couple. I just feel it. I need to see what happens next!!!

Yona of the dawn is just amazing

I loved this purchase! It is in amazing condition. Just like new! It was also for an affordable cost. I definitely recommend it. :)

~4 Stars After that last cliffhanger, we discover that Yona and Riri haven't been taken to immediate danger, but are put to work where danger is going to come over time, whether they do or don't do what they're told. It's interesting to see the group separate like this. Yona and Riri are apart from the rest, of course, but the dragons and Riri's guards also split up, in order to check the locations that Yona and Riri might be. And then Su-Won shows up, and we see a couple more surprise characters that might just complicate things more. It's easy to forget that the dragons and most other characters don't know what happened to Yona, and don't know Su-Won or all the connections there. They're very separate experiences for most of the characters. But on the other hand, it's also nice to see what friendships have formed around all these events. Su-Won has made connections. But also, Hak has grown close to the dragons, despite whether he wanted to or not—they all care for each other, and it's nice to see that acknowledged, as they reassure and watch over Hak, when they're all worried about Yona. This cliffhanger is even worse than the last. And this plot line is getting more complicated and terrible as it goes. I immediately need to read the next, because I cannot wait to find out what happens.

I love it. I love this whole series. Hak is the best, the characters have depth, even the guy you hate is understandable.
