Columbia Men's Ventmeister Hiking Sandals

I used to buy Clarks sandals, but I have been extremely unhappy with the quality of their product recently (the last three pairs broke within 3 weeks of buying them - and when I contacted Clarks they really didn't seem to care about the lack of quality). So I decided to try another brand and based upon other reviews I decided to go with the Columbia Ventmeister Sandals. I am so very glad that I did - these are awesome!! They were the most comfortable thing I have ever worn and straight from the box (usually I have to break in footwear over a month - yes my feet are very delicate!!!). Wore them everyday on my most recent holiday to Florida - miles and miles of walking in very hot and sweaty weather - and not a single blister!! We had a number of storms and the sandals got absolutely soaked - they were still comfy, dried out quickly and there was no damage to the insoles what so ever. They are fantastic - so much so I am going to buy another pair to keep and pop away - just in case they stop making them!! Overall - very comfy, well made, light, good in all weathers and fit perfectly!! Well done Columbia - and bye bye Clarks!!!

Extremely comfortable sandal with a soft cushioned foot strike, suede footbed much better than plastic type footbeds. However, it fits too large for a slim ankle/foot & Velcro strap is beyond its limit for my foot, but its OK for pavement walking. Sandal is not robust & rigid enough for uneven terrain, boulders etc. I don't use these for most hiking routes, but they're perfect for around town/park.

Very comfortable and head wearing sandals. Well worth the money. The older style had clips that meant you didn't have to use the Velcro straps as much, I thought that was a better idea as the Velcro will eventually lose the grip. However still a great sandal.

These are the second pair I have bought. Really comfortable and great vale for money. The first lasted 5 years and when these wear out |'ll be getting another pair.

Why are all shoes getting narrower? These are significantly narrower than my old columbia sandals which were wonderfully comfortable and lasted well. They also lack the Vibram sole and the cushioning and construction is inferior, but they're wearable.

Great sandals! Vet comfortable and much cheaper than the likes of merrells and such. I'm usually around a size 10/11 bought an 11 in these and they fit perfectly!

Hoping these will last as long as my previous pair. Disappointed Columbia have done away with the clip in method and gone down the velcro route. They do not feel so rugged or solid as the previous model but as always - 'time will tell' . . . Love the design with the raised toe & heel soles to protect against stubbing the toes. I live in sandals during the summer months due to my work so they take a beating and these by far are the best sandals I have ever worn & I have tried & tested many brands over the years. . .

Ich habe einen lebhaften Hund und gehe gerne abseitz der Hauptwege im Wald. Ich brauche eine gute Sohle die beim Berg aufgehen halt gibt und grober Splitt nicht an der Fußsohle durchtritt. Eine langlebige Abpolsterung sowie eine variable Einstellung der Riemen und ein gescheites Fußbett. War heute 3,5 Std.auf einem großen Flohmarkt mit Wiesen -, Asphalt - und viel Schotter bei 30°. Keine Blasen gelaufen, die Steine fast nicht bemerkt und die Abkürzung zum Auto den Hang rauf ohne Probleme. Für mich die Richtigen.

Comoda e sportiva. Ideale per l'estate.

Se las compre a mi marido y le quedaban muy justas y el pie le llegaba casi al filo quizas medio numero o un numero mas, pero luego son comodas y se agarran muy bien.
