Woodstock D4227 2-1/2" Splice

Plastic is a bit thinner than the one I purchased from a common home improvement store. The stores name was Home... Home something. Cant quite remember. Ahem.Anyway just dont step on this or run over it while vacuuming the car and you'll be fine. If you regularly throw this with a bunch of other things in the back of your pickup to take to a work-site I wouldn't expect it to last a long time. For consumer or home use its fine.

When I bought this, I intended it to connect standard shop vac hoses, but it's too loose to hold them securely. Perhaps this isn't the intended application, but it would have been trivial for the manufacturer to taper the inner wall and obviate this problem.I'd have rated it lower if I were sure that I'm using it in the manner for which it's intended. Perhaps someone else can comment on whether this is the case. It's an OK product, but...it's sitting idle because I can't use it.

Just what I needed to connect the 2-1/4" connectors that go on my 2-1/2" dust collection hose. For those who hope these fit your Shop Vac or Ridgid wet/dry vac hoses, it fits one end well and the other end loosely. It fits the 4" to 2-1/2": adapter from the end of my dust collector hose.

The fit is a little loose on my shop-vac hoses, but it works with a little tape in the joint to make it tighter, and the price is right.

all my hoses tighten up nicely with this splice, so I have no complaints about leaking or bad connections with it.

I needed this to connect 2 vacuum hoses together. It is so loose that it is useless for that application. Inside measurement is 2.30" and each end has a socket about 1.5 inches. It fits on some other fitting I have but not the ones with which I intended to use it.

Good product and good quality but it is unfortunate that will not fit on a reducer or a y-fitting or a blast gate or a quick coupler, only on a 2-1/2 inch hose

It's plastic.

It leaks air. It falls off of the standard 2-1/2 air hose on my Rigid vac
