One of the best tools I've purchased, and I've got a barn full of tools.
I bought this knife because I am building a tipi with my son (for kicks) and I needed a decent tool to strip the bark off the poles. They are 22 feet long, 3 inch in diameter at the base, and we have 15 of them to strip (we cut them down ourselves) so it is no small task. I've done 7 poles so far and this tool has not only held up but has performed beautifully. You wouldn't' know it by looking at them, but the handles are shaped such that the tool just belongs in your hands and really reduces the grip strain you'd otherwise encounter. The angle of the blade as it sits in your hands is perfect. The blade was sharp out of the box and after seven 22 foot long poles has not needed resharpening. I'm hanging this bad boy up on the shop wall with pride when I'm done using it. Heck, I'll be looking for projects just so I can use it again.

Good, well-made draw knife
Very well made and suits my purpose well. I'm using it to strip bark and wood from some pieces of ironwood (aka hop-hornbeam) to make walking sticks and staffs. Was plenty sharp on arrival and I have done probably twenty 5- to 6- foot pieces of ironwood with it and it shows no signs of noticeable dulling thus far. When you look at the edge lengthwise you can see that the steel has worn away a bit in the center and the edge is no longer perfectly straight, but that's to be expected considering the way I use it, and it seems to be self-sharpening to a degree, because like I said, it hasn't noticeably dulled at all. The handles are very well attached and haven't moved or loosened at all.

Great drawknife for the money but edge needs some TLC
Well made with nice materials however... If you are looking for something RAZOR SHARP right out of the box, this may not be for you. The cutting edge has a lot of deep tool marks from their "sharpening process" that took me hours to (almost) get rid of. After the three hours I spent cleaning up the edge with a diamond/ceramic stone and a strop this thing is amazing. Scary sharp now and holds an edge for a long time. Recommend buying an edge guard for it.

Two Cherries Drawknife
An excellent product! Upon receiving the product, I found the metal to be of excellent quality, similar to that of German planer knives, and honed to a useable sharpness. The knife is easy to use and non-tiring due to the handles being upturned 90 degrees to the knife, as opposed to some knives being outturned 45 degrees relative to the blade. The wooden handles are of excellent quality, and made on in such a way as to not slip off, or come off easily. The product was exactly as described in the product description, and comes enclosed in a hang bag. I highly recommend this product.

Not useable out of box
After an hour on diamond stones, the back is still not flat. It arrived with a visible burr on the bevel side that made the tool unusable out of the box. Would not buy again, and I am considering sending it back

A fine addition to my toolbox!
This draw knife has brought my bow making abilites to the next level. I have used this great tool to chase rings on several Mulberry staves and I have completely enjoyed the task. I have never used a draw knife before, but I found the quality and sharpness of the blade made learning to chase rings very easy. This tool and I took 3 large rough spilt, quarter logs, and turned them into 3" x 3" x 72" staves in 4 hours today. I had no idea how great working with a draw knife could be. This tool is sharp and the handles are a good size for my hands. If you are on the fence about purchasing a draw knife, do yourself a favor and get one of these. The pictures show the transformation of a quarter log of Mulberry before and after 1 hour of work with my drawknife.

Good Blade- Get What Ya Pay For
This tool is simply "ok". Handles came completely unfinished with the 2 cherries logo stocked barely hanging on. The blade is nice and thick and the tang seems reliably strong but it comes totally dull. Also, the blade has both a slight bow and is slightly cupped. But hey- if I wanted a perfect drawknife I would have saved 3 times the money for a flawless Lie-Nielsen

Good quality knife
Am new to using a draw knife and this was one of my first purchases in that field. I find this a sharp, easy to use, and very substantial knife that holds its blade well and sharpens easily. It is well made with wooden handles at Which are comfortable in the hands. It is a little bigger that I anticipated. However it is lovely and easy to use and I would recommend and purchase again if ever required. .

Solido
Es muy sólido y de buena calidad. Lo único que viene con poco filo.

Base no plana.
Actualización: No he podido aplanarla, he puesto una curvatura abajo para poder afilarla.

Leider wird so was in unserer Umgebung nirgends geführt.
