I bought these to put in my last loop when crocheting to stop it unraveling. They are a bit smaller than I was expecting and sometimes I only catch a couple of strands instead of the whole loop. Once I got the hang of opening it right up, I have managed to successfully use these for the job I purchased them for. If your fingers are stiff or crooked, you may not find them suitable for your needs.
