ROVOGO Stainless Steel Shower Panels System with 8-inch Rainfall Shower, 6 Body Jets and 5-Setting Handheld Shower Wand, Shower Tower with Adjustable Head, Brushed

I recently remodeled a basement bathroon with block walls and was looking for something that didn't need recessed valve assemblies and still looked decent. This fit the bill perfectly. Pros: Simple installation. I ended up drilling a small hole to feed my unit from the top with 3/8" lines due to there being no way to plumb down the tiled block wall. The hooks to hang the unit have a nice spring to them and lock it to the wall securely. I did add a few dots of silicone just to make it extra secure, but this really isn't necessary. The body wash jets are absolutely lovley. Their spray is heavier than a mist, but not overly forceful. They create a nice warm place to stand in an otherwise very cold shower. Cons: There is a bit of work to do to ensure the plumbing is sufficiently secured out of the box. This is rather fidly work, and probably isn't for everyone due to the sharp edges on the back and how easy it is to overtorque or break the fittings. The stainless is a bit thin and it struggles to support the included rainfall shower head. (I personally don't care for this type of head so it's not an issue for me) Water usage by the body wash jets is significant. (~4 GPM) This function likely will not work for you if you're using an on demand hot water system. If you would like to do the calculations to see if your heater will work, the equation is: BTU= GPM * 500 * ∆T (temperature difference from input to output in farenheit) Other thoughts: The stainless used on this unit is a bit thin, but is crucially non-magnetic. There is no evidence of corrosion after a month of daily use. Temperature control does have a failry large deadband in the top end of the hot range. I actually appreciate this as I can get exclusively hot water from this unit. This may not be the best choice for a family with rowdy children as parts of it are more fragile then I'd like to see. That being said, this unit is still an excellent value for the money. If this unit had slightly thicker stainless and brass/stainless fittings rather than plastic it would be a 10/10 and I'd gladly pay for those upgrades.

Have had it installed several months now and it’s great!!! Only issue is it’s a water hog! Mine did not come with any water restrictors for the rain hat or the hand held. Bought restrictor washers for a couple of bucks, installed them, reducing the flow but it is still super. Body sprays are not high pressure pulsing sprays but they provide a very relaxing body shower. The description tells you they are not high pressure. I saw several comments about how all the connections leak. If you read the instructions, they tell you to tighten all the connections. I’ve had no leaking. The instructions would be more helpful if they provided better information as to where to locate the incoming water supply lines. Overall it looks great, functions well and we are very pleased. My favorite is the rain hat, it fells do good.

When our built-in shower valve died and the cost to replace it was more than the cost of a new shower panel, we chose the latter. It was fairly easy to modify the shower connections to fit this new shower panel, although we had to reduce the water lines from 5/8" lines to 1/2" lines. We like having all the water connections in the back of the panel, but we have found that those connections are leaking just a bit. But better leaking into the shower itself than into the wall, so it will be easier to find the leak and fix it. We are very happy with the ease of adjusting the water temperature and choosing which of the three shower options that are available with this unit. Really the only complaints we have are that the water pressure in the body sprays is pretty weak, and that the panel doesn't hang evenly on the shower wall. We installed an additional L-bracket on the bottom of the unit to hold it on the wall better and caulked all around the edges and that seems to have made it sturdier and hopefully, more waterproof. This is definitely an improvement over our old shower system. If we were to buy another shower panel at some point, I think we might get one with a water spigot so we could fill larger containers, or wash the dog. But that is a minor inconvenience that we frankly didn't consider when we were buying this one. All in all, I think we would give this shower unit a B+.

Excellent customer service. Purchased 4 years 11 months ago, daily use. The valve sprung a leak and contacted the seller. Within 24 hrs they responded and requested photos of the defective parts. Within 24 hrs of sending photos I had a reply (on a Sunday) that they were shipping the parts which arrived in 4 days. Replaced parts in 15 minutes. Shower tower is good as new

This is not a good product. The housing of the shower head literally cracked radially almost in perfect 90 degree intervals from the connection point in the centre to the edges. I didn't realize this at first so I wasted an hour taking it apart and cleaning everything with vinegar. Once it was back on again I saw that the water was spraying up from the outside surface of the shower head like a broken sprinkler. Spend more money and get better quality.

Best value for your money and easy to install. I had to replace the old unit and didn't want to pay an arm and a leg so I gave this unit a try. It arrived today. I was able to install it within an hour and it only took me that long cause I hard to go the that hardware store to get longer hoses. See, the existing hot and cold water connections were lower than expected and I needed the height since I'm 6'-4" but if you're a standard height person (5'-6" average) you most probably won't need to buy longer hoses because the unit includes them. My wife is so happy and that is all that matters. We were impressed with the packaging. The unit came in a frabrick bag and they even included gloves for you to handle the unit. It works great, strong stream of water on all functions. Again very nice and worth the money. No bells, no whistles just a simple shower unit. I recommend it.

I am a contractor who has rehabbed homes for 24 years. This includes many shower systems. I purchased this system due to its appearance and some of the reviews. With the exception of the mixing valve and housing everything is plastic. Every screw & nut needs tightened significantly. The small wrench that is given works on the mixing valve metal nuts well but not the many plastic nuts. You have to force the wrench onto the plastic nuts to turn them. The water hoses that connect to the water adapters you have to install have little flexibility. You absolutely need to make sure the adapters are installed with little exposure beyond the exterior wall. You can use the "L" adapters included but once the water hoses are attached to the adapters you have to force the hoses into the housing. Due to the lack of hose flexibility...the brackets that hold the entire fixture are difficult to connect. It's difficult to push the unit flush with the wall to enable to connect the brackets. You must force the unit flush with the wall to connect the brackets. Also, the wing nut that holds the shower head can not be tightened enough to hold the showerhead in place. This is frustrating since the showerhead is the most important feature you want to control. It is difficult to elevate the showerhead in a "rain" position without it slowly sliding downward. The weight and or vibration of the water or poor tightening design causes this to occur. As well, there is NO installation directions to speak of. You are left on your own to figure out many aspects of the installation. It is now fully installed but only after attempting numerous work-arounds to make the installation work. You always expect some...but not as many encountered.

Works as it should

This is absolutely the easiest way to plumb in a new shower fixture you will ever find. It's been in use for almost a year and it looks exactly the same as the day it was installed. Nice finish and the rain shower is an absolute delight. I don't really use the jets but the wand is a nice feature.

Installation was simple and clear. Some minor plumbing experience helps to ensure connection. Directions could be a bit more detailed for non experienced people. Kit comes with cotton gloves for protection when reaching inside for shower head and hand held connections to protect your hands, although I didn't find them to after...lol. Body shower jets are not super strong and are more of a gentle feel. Rain shower is good because you can adjust height and angle. Hand held allows for different settings. I feel this was good value for money. Others at Home Depot were twice the price. Not sure how the features compare, but I prefer the simplicity compared to the unit I removed that was heavier and I could not repair. Contacting the vendor was very helpful, as they responded very quickly to my questions. It was not recommended to clear silicone the perimeter of the unit after installation, but I think it is advisable to keep it in position after mounting. Very easy to do.

Update 2.... what amazing customer service!! They are working to solve this problem and sending another replacement shower head... I would not hesitate to buy anything from this company seeing their commitment to customer service! THANK YOU ROVOGO!!! after 2 months the plastic piece for the rain shower head partially popped off and now most of the water leaks in a blob out the side. Unfortunately for me, we tiled around it, trusting that it would last a long time. See photo and video. I am hoping I can get a replacement head for this shower but I would not recommend it at this time. UPDATE: Customer service was excellent and Rovogo shipped a new one... unfortunately the same thing happened again. If there was a steel one, I would buy that to replace the plastic head that keeps popping off. It looks beautiful and the company sent me a replacement, but I would love an option for a steel shower head with no plastic parts.
