Good small propane blow heater , for RV
Simple , analog , no batteries , works like a charm and has a delay setting for fan . Fan is a touch loud , but if you are cold, you get used to it . Small and fits well thru a cabinet of a smaller Trailer No need for manuals. Only thing to do is remember to set to โoffโ so it donโt cycle the heater in cold and when you are not there.

Easy to install
This is an upgrade from my factory thermostat in my travel trailer. My old thermostat was very hard to turn on and off and would cut my fingers. This new thermostat is very easy with no effort to turn on and off.

Works well. No temperature scale but that doesn't matter.
This is a direct replacement for the thermostat in my RV. It works perfectly and installs in minutes. As others have noted, this does not have a temperature scale on the top of the thermostat. It just has a series of hash marks. The photos should be up-dated. The fact that the numerical scale is missing doesn't really matter. The scale on the old one was not accurate anyway. For the first day after installation just experiment with the setting you find most comfortable. Once you find the setting that is correct for you, just set it there in the future. The hash marks aid in setting it to the same position each time. The thermostat seems to perform very consistently at a given setting. (1 star was deducted only because they should post an accurate photo.)

Solved all of my heating and colling issues
RV heater and AC weren't working. Figured out that the furnace did work, just wasn't receiving and signal to turn on. Traced it to the thermal and replaced it. Fixed it right up. Then realized that the AC bow works properly as well. An easy to install $25 part saved me thousands in parts and repairs

Sometimes cheaper is better
I like this simple thermostat, no LED display, No batteries, and it has the on/off switch built in to the temp selector. This is used in our RV 5th wheel for our Suburban propane furnace. It even has a thermometer that I find handy.

Works - but not perfect.
This really should be 3.5 but definitely not a 4. We purchased this to replace the failed control on 2009 toy hauler. You have to guestimate where it should be for a temperature. There is no, slide the scale to 70 degrees. While it accurately shows the temp, the slide control is just bars and its hard to dial it in just right. Often times we find that even when set between the 2nd and 3rd its blasting the trailer until its 80 degrees. Drop it to 2nd bar and trailer is hovering around 64 degrees.

Great replacement thermostat for our rv
The numbers on our original thermostat were unreadable so I replaced it with this one. I wanted something simple and inexpensive so this fit the bill perfectly. Works well and is easy to read. Shuts off position holds it in the off position when traveling. Very satisfied.

Works good.
Bought this to replace the current broken thermostat in my camper. Everything works fine but I did notice that the numbers/degrees are not marked on the new one. Wasnโt a big deal as I just put the old cover on the new thermostat for a quick fix.

Replaces Dometic / Atwood 38453
I replaced a Dometic heat only thermostat that kept flattening my battery and wasting propane by not going to OFF easily, noticeably or correctly. For the Suburban the Amazon ad says 12 volt and the product insert says 24 volt. This should not make much difference in application and actually may be a little safer. Note though the Suburban Red (R) and White (W) connections may not match the wiring of your RV. In my Forester 19BH the live is white (W) and the neutral is black - (R) - backwards!!! How cheaply made are these RV's? (generally the convention is the W is neutral and the black (B) or red (R) live) No problem here - set the Suburban to high and touch for a short while one of the RV wires to (R) if the furnace turns on it is the live wire (Do not neglect in the final install to connect the neutral as neglecting this introduces a shock hazard - but at 12 or 24 volts it is somewhat minor - unless your system has other problems). The Dometic / Atwood off/on switch is problematic - This Suburban is the same cost on replacement but appears to be a much better design. I am likely also to add a small ON/OFF toggle switch to the thermostat (the live wire) as my Forester is wired weird. The radio and carbon dioxide sensor both killed my battery even when the fuse breakers were turned to OFF. WTF! I suspect the furnace is the same. A trickle that eventually kills the battery.
