Mazer Type-G Multimedia Gaming Keyboard (EKM085BK)

My friend and I both purchased this keyboard in hopes of a good keyboard for a reasonable price. This keyboard satisfied this and has lasted about 6 months now with zero problems.Pros:-Keys feel like heaven!! It's like having an orgasm in your hand. It's the nicest keyboard I've felt that isn't mechanical.-Great media control with quick and efficient use. (You don't have to press function as it is nicely placed on the sides of the keyboard)-Looks great with the Cyan colored WASD and arrow keys.-Illumination is nice-Gives a near mechanical keyboard sound. (Closest you can get in a rubber dome)Cons:-Does not illuminate the individual keys, it just makes it look cool by lighting up the sides etc.-In my keyboard, not my friends, the spring in the space bar made an irritating noise after some time. This wasn't that big of a deal and I actually fixed it incredibly easily. The two ways I discovered to fix it was to either re-position the springs and tighten the screws on the bottom or to just take the springs out because it works the exact same.Overall great keyboard and the best rubber dome keyboard I've ever used. The only reason why I'm selling it is because I'm upgrading to a mechanical keyboard.

Had the Mad Catz gaming keyboard that failed twice (2 different keyboards). Bought this as a cheap replacement until I decide on a permanent one. I may actually end up keeping this one. Response is fine. Lighting is nice. No complaints to this point.

It`s ugly, but functional. Nothing special about it. It comes with some replacement keys in case you don`t like the blue ones. The keyboard itself does not have led illumination. There is a "light button", but it simply turn on a led in the logo and at the bottom of the keyboard. Not very useful. It feels good to type in this keyboard. There are some multimedia keys that Windows recognize. For 30 dollars I gave 3 stars. I would give 5 stars if it were cheaper.

Received on time, nice looking keyboard. One problem I noticed immediately--the "M/m" key duplicated when pressed--so, mom came out 'mmomm' about 80-85% of the time. Tried to live with it, however, I type a lot of papers for grad school so I had to return it. Amazon was very helpful and apologetic and shipped another one while we were talking on the phone. Replacement showed up a day or so later and I opened the box to find that it appeared to have been opened/used in the past and it was missing Numpad keys and the LEDs did not light up properly. Needless to say, I was extremely irritated at this point. Amazon Prime, again, very apologetic and issued an immediate credit and emailed return label. I was told the product was going to be pulled but I still see it out there. If I could rate zero for quality I would. I get this is a budget price keyboard but I ought to get some 'value' out of it. Do yourself a favor and spend an extra $20 and get a semi-decent keyboard. I do appreciate Amazon Prime correcting the issues immediately and didn't hassle me at all.

First and foremost, do not be fooled into thinking this keyboard has back-lit keys. The wording on the page is very deceiving and tricked me into buying this keyboard. The only illumination is around the multimedia keys on the two ends. If you play in the dark, be prepared to not see the writing on the keys. Another gripe is the multimedia volume keys. A click up or down for volume translates to 1/100th a step up/down in volume. Otherwise functionally the keyboard is average. The keys are very firm and require a purposeful and direct push. the space bar is LOUD when pressed. I would not recommend this keyboard, I would suggest saving some money and buying a decent keyboard. I will be doing away with this in a month or so and will be opting for a keyboard that actually has back-lit keys and whose keys are a bit more forgiving.

This keyboard works very well and is very functional. For the price that you can get it you are getting alot for your money. They send extra keys for the wasd keys and arrow keys. The USB cord is made out of a very flexible fabric instead of ruber. This makes the cord get tangled less and is easier to move. Over all I am very happy wih the purchase, the keys feel very nice and feel vey durable. It is great for the hard core gaming that I like to do and it is cheap for what you get. I am happy and satisfied.

Love the weight, design and functionality of this keyboard only problem with it is...the characters are in a baby blue color making them slightly hard to make out.(unconventional letter designs don't help much either) Make the letters BRIGHT WHITE, you have a winner.

Packaging is excellent. Comes with black keys for wasd, or the arrow keys. Suprisingly good quality for something ad cheap as this. The only cons for this is the enter key, and the spacebar, but it could be just me not being used to it. Also, keep in mind that the LED is not for the keys, but as a backlight. It wasnt a problem for me since my monitor lights up the keyboard, and I'm good at typing, so I dont look down too much. Overall great quality at a great price
