Cheap feeling
5mm is too small. And these magnets are weak, easily dented. They make a strange noise against each other when strung in a single line. I've had better experiences with larger magnetic balls

My son and I have had a blast with these, our current favorite use is making silly faces on the fridge and changing the face while the other is not around. They are the perfect figet toy while we are doing school work and such. I definitely prefer these over the 3mm, they are still small, but easier to work with. Plan to purchase again as gifts in the future
