I just put it together and it was super simple! I tried it out a few times and it works without a hitch!! I can’t wait to see the look of surprise on my daughters face tomorrow!! I’m a big baker and love cake decorating. This musical surprise popping cake stand “elevated” my cake to a new level. The expression when the popping surprise happens is priceless. I just bought a surprise cake stand and I used it for the first time. Everything worked perfectly except that the pin came out and detached from the stand. It was not handled aggressively (I took a video of the reveal). I tried to put the pin back in but it is not working the way it was before. Surprise Cake contacted me right away and offered to replace the broken part. It came within a week and it works great. Great customer service! Thank you!

I love looking for things that are unique and this is it. I took this to the lady that was making my husbands birthday cake and she had never seen one before so it took her about an hour to put it together. But when it was put together and he cranked the little music box he just smiled from ear to ear because it's so unique. Love love loved it. I would recommend this product. It's just really cool

This thing is freakin cool! While we didn’t put the actual surprise in yet it is definitely unique. The price point is high but it is reusable. Super technical and makes a great cake surprise.

I am happy with the product but I am so disappointed with amazon because knowing that it’s used as a surprise present inside cake they didn’t mail it in an amazon box they just mailed the product as is and my husband saw it I am so disappointed

Surprise Cake is a birthday game changer. Brings an element of surprise to cake time and was fun for everyone. It is easy to assemble and perfect for traveling. Surprised my friend with his favorite superhero and really excited to use it again.

I was disappointed in this product. The idea is amazing. For the price, it was rickety and cheap CHEAPLY made plastic and parts. It was confusing to put together and it didn’t pop up smoothly- more equivalent to that super old wooden roller coaster you hate riding bc it jars you back and forth. I returned this item.

I bought this cake stand to surprise my daughter with a cell phone but the cell phone I bought her was too big. I would pay more attention to the description on the dimensions of what it says can hold in the middle. So instead put cash gift cards and chocolate and some candy in it. I also bought the one with the music box. music box played really nicely. everyone loved it. The only thing was it didn't pop up all the way I think that was because the icing cause it to get stuck.

The two party events it worked at it was a very fun surprise. However when I was getting it ready for a 3rd party event it was VERY difficult to put the core and spring into place. Then at the party it would NOT spring up. It was very disappointing of course. I'm hoping that the company will send me replacement parts to correct this issue.
