L'Oreal Superior Preference Light Amber Brown is one of the best colors I've used & I normally buy the more expensive, salon equivalent brands but never again! This is the 2nd time I've used L'Oreal Superior Preference color, once when I was dark blonde. I just can't get over how soft & unbelievably shiny my hair looks after using the color, plus my hair seems to have more volume! I'm so thrilled with these results! Previously, I'd chose a professional formula in another brand & my hair was not light copper brown but bright fire engine red! Despite using clarifying shampoo till I was waterlogged, I still had bright red clown hair! Not anymore! I'm so thrilled with the not only the excellent coverage for my few stubborn grays but my hair just looks and feels incredible! L'Oreal Superior Preference Light Amber Brown gave me the beautiful, professional looking color I'd been wanting - a nice light brown with just the perfect amount of copper so it looks like my natural hair color. Finally, I can stop hiding under beanies & ball caps! No wonder stylists warn against box colors! I think my hair definitely looks like I had it done in a salon! Oh! Those stubborn gray hairs? Completely vanished!

Love this color. I get so many compliments. It matches my natural hair color fairly well. It is mostly a medium brown but has a red highlights.

Easy to mix together and the conditioner it comes with is nice to use after the dying process. I have my hair past my shoulders it’s curly. So I usually use a lot. So I thought. I put together two boxes and really only used one.The instructions told you to do your roots first, wait then apply to your ends. That’s different from my years of box hair color. Worked so well. My previous service of Beyelage and grays were all covered up and evenly matched. It did come out darker than I expected, still looks nice. I just wanted it a couple of shades lighter.I would go a shade lighter if I did it again. I think that’s just preference though. Worth the buy

My hair is black with lots of white. This photo shows how great the color did. I had about 1.5 inches of roots and the rest was the result of using a color remover on my hair a couple of months ago. The color looks pretty even and my hair feels soft and not damaged. I have used a lot of dyes over the last few years and usually there is a difference between roots and previously dyed hair if not bleached (at least with very dark hair). This dye looks pretty even despite the original color.

Provides a very natural color, covering gray well for 6+ weeks. The conditioner provided with the kit leaves hair soft and shiny. I use it after every shampoo.

I do not write reviews often, but found essential to share this product review. I colored my hair as i normally do, about every 7-8 weeks, to cover a few pesky grays that really show in my dark head of hair, also to rid my hair from the brassiness due to sun damage on hair (outdoors all the time.)First, it covered some grays, but in the daylight brightness, only made my grays even more noticeable due to brassy color it gave them. So def have to recolor my hair to cover those now.But used this on a day of a big gala we were going to in the evening, and it was as if the conditioner did not rinse out, and I had my hair rinsing for at least two minutes in the shower. Took forever for my hair to dry then it was a greasy waxy mess. And i have a thick head of hair, and it takes a lot to get greasy. It was so bad that I had to wash my hair the next day to remove it. I was not sure if I had done something wrong, but I have been coloring my hair forever and never had seen this result before. So thought I would peek at reviews and I see others had the same messy result. Product is pretty much useless due to those flaws.I now have to buy another color and dye my hair again, all under a week, which makes me nervous.Be warned, do not plan to have a big evening on the day of coloring, I had to wear my hair up that evening due to the mess it left in my long thick hair. Disappointing to say the least!
