I have had an excellent experience with this copper water bottle. Since I started using it, the water tastes fresher and more pleasant. I really like drinking directly from the bottle because it does not develop any bad smell, not in the lid, not in the cup, and not in the water. The bottle feels high quality, practical, elegant, and very well made. I also appreciate the natural properties of copper and the clean experience it gives when drinking water. I am very satisfied with this purchase and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a durable, beautiful, and more natural water bottle.

Good product, big mouth, which CAN be great, but also very challenging to drink out of without spilling in your lap. However, it does allow for cleaning inside much easier.

I've been wanting a pure copper water bottle for some time now, I've spent loads of time online researching which one to purchase (considering the cost of one, I didn't want to be disappointed), reading thru countless reviews. I settled on getting this one because of the purity of the copper, the smooth design and the majority of positive reviews from other customers. I will say that one of the more negative reviews was submitted by someone who had said their wife had put grape juice in it and threw up violently for three days afterwards. Whaaat?!? Upon reading the DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS THAT COME WITH THIS BOTTLE, it specifically states to NOT pour acidic liquids into it (lemons, grapes, grapefruit, etc) that by doing that will bring about undesirable results ("Tell me you didn't thoroughly read the instructions without actually telling me you didn't thoroughly read the instructions.") Sure, it smells a little weird at first, but those instructions TELL YOU how to eliminate the odor (washing thoroughly with dish soap, rinsing well afterwards and allowing it to air dry for eight hours. Leaving it in the sun for 3 hours or more helps tremendously with that, too. That's also in the detailed instructions). I use Multipure filtered water for drinking, this pure copper bottle is a great pairing with that purified water. It is also superior to the stainless steel one I've been using the past 10 years. In fact, the stainless one ended up with a metallic odor I couldn't get rid of, ever. No matter what I did to it. I HIGHLY recommend this bottle to anyone who is conscious of consuming better H2O. All that and it is BEAUTIFUL!!!! I like how it comes in a type of gift box, too. Perfect gift for that health conscious someone in your life. Well-worth the money spent. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

3/26/2024: I've been using this cup daily for 364 days. It's taken quite the beating over that time. I recently had to hammer in the bottom because I've dropped it so much it was concaved outward and the bottle was wobbly. I wish the seller would sell packages of replacement o-rings or at least provide a contact to purchase more from. The discoloration on the top of the cup doesn't come off, but the rest of the cup cleans up nicely using ONLY kosher salt, lemon juice and a little hot water. Someone posted they used vinegar; don't. I like this cup but I'll be ordering a new one from Paani so I can get one with a silicone sleeve to protect the outside a little bit. Only thing I wish this cup did we have a wide enough mouth so I could put a different lid that has a flip top to it. I did but another one off Amazon for the lid to use at work; but it's not real copper. 3/27/2023: I have been using this cup every day since I bought it, which was over a month ago, and it has been working perfectly except for the fact that the lid doesn't seal properly. If the cup leans over, the water will leak out, but since it's only meant for holding water, it's not too much of a problem. The cup originally came with a rubber o-ring for the lid, but even if you tighten the lid as much as possible, the o-ring doesn't work very well.

I recently purchased the Otiem 34oz Pure Copper Bottle, and unfortunately, my experience has been less than satisfactory. The bottle is advertised as being made of pure copper, which was a significant selling point for me. However, after using it for a short period, I noticed a rust-colored substance peeling off from the inside of the bottle. This is quite concerning, as it raises doubts about the purity and quality of the material used. Copper is known for its durability and health benefits, but the peeling issue suggests that the bottle might not be made of pure copper as claimed. The inside of the bottle deteriorating so quickly is unacceptable, especially for a product marketed as high-quality pure copper. Visually, the bottle does not look like pure copper either. The exterior finish seems different from the authentic copper items I own. This discrepancy between the product's claims and its actual quality is disappointing. Overall, I cannot recommend the Otiem 34oz Pure Copper Bottle based on my experience. If you are looking for a genuine pure copper bottle, you might want to consider other options that have better reviews and a proven track record of quality.

Fantastic hydrating water bottle. I now drink more water than I usually do. Which for me means I’m hydrating better & that’s great news. Plus the water taste better to me from the copper bottle. It feels sturdy & the dark color has a relaxed, chill & appealing tone. Love that it’s leak proof with a secure & sanitary screw on top & made in such a size that fits nicely in a water bottle pocket of my backpack or inside the backpack. So it travels well. This is a wonderful product arrived quickly, was well packaged that is a great value for the money. I highly recommend & would buy again! Thank you!

This is after probably a week and a half or two weeks of using it every day very little patina was growing and I just had to clean it at that point because the copper taste was getting a little bit too much but they recommend to clean it every day. I just kinda wanted to know how long I could go without washing it. Things that I was concerned about were that it was welded. It does not look like it was welded. It looks like it’s very high-quality. I did notice a change in how my gut felt. I love the bottle. It’s super pretty. It does take work to have the bottle so you are going to have to clean it and they recommend letting it air dry. I would always put it by the window and leave it open and then put water before bed it the longer you let the water sit the more it’s gonna have a copper taste. They said that it doesn’t have a copper taste if you Put in another glass that it’s just your nose smelling it but probably by week two I had a really strong copper taste. I put it in a glass water container and it still tasted like copper but again that’s without any washing at all for two weeks. I see that the most discoloration came from where I would put my lips. I’m really happy with the bottle and the quality of it. It gives really good instructions on how to care for it and how to clean it. This isn’t just a regular bottle that you can just have it does require maintenance, but it is worth it.

It’s amazing. Water tastes SO clean after it sits for maybe 15 mins. I’ve had mine for 6 months now, and I wish I would have bought it sooner. You do have to keep up with the cleaning as it oxidizes pretty fast.. but it’s to be expected, and just means it’s the good stuff! ;) Also, don’t leave water in for over 8 hours and drink it! It definitely can be toxic. (Do your own research)
