Great Monitor with right video card
I got one from my office and one myself. Great IPS monitor with 4K and lots of connectivity including USB for the price. It looks good to me. I use it with Windows 10 in multimedia mode. There was a problem with my geforce graphics card fighting with the newer nvidia K420 card making this look blurry. Took a while to figure out the problem was with the card. Got two of the k420's over display port and this is awesome. Reduced blurriness and high PPI is extremely easy on my eyes during a full day of work. I use it with 150% scaling - I do not regret this purchase. I had a LG 2560 X 1080 which was also good without scaling the problem with that was that this will last me longer without need for replacement and that was widescreen and not really ideal for a programmer. Update: Got a second one for home. Did not expect it to give 3k with my mid 2011 mac mini. AMAZING I AM GETTING FULL 3K 30Hz ON MY MAC MINI!! WOW!! AMAZING RETINA DISPLAY!!!! 30Hz has some lag but still works pretty great... Also my Office Lenovo Thinkpad T450s gives me full 3K at 59Hz on this. 60hz can be set but 59Hz is less choppy. All in all a great monitor! Update: If you are not happy with this monitor - it is your video card. The minimum video card to drive two of these is: EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB SSC GAMING ACX 2.0+, Whisper Silent Cooling w/ Free Installed Backplate Graphics Card 04G-P4-3967-KR. So 2 GB per monitor. Do not use $99 Quadro with 1GB for this monitor. Big difference in clarity and it hangs and stutters with the Quadro.

Excellent as second monitor on iMac 5K (and Win10 in bootcamp)
I just received this monitor today and have been using it for a couple hours. I usually wait before I write a review, but I thought it could be useful to others as my setup is a bit different than most. I'll edit it if something happens in the future. I'm using this monitor (P2415Q) as a secondary monitor on an iMac 5k (retina), both on OSX (El Capitan) and Windows 10 (in bootcamp). 24" is a bit of an overkill here, but I wanted HiDPI because there is no way I can use a non-"retina-like" monitor next to the iMac's gorgeous screen, and for some reason, manufacturers are so attached to the 4K label that they won't make smaller ones with very high PPI. Anyway. I chose this one for several reasons. The main ones are : - Ultra HD, same quality as a retina screen. - IPS panel - SST (Single Stream Transport), which means the monitor is seen as a single normal monitor, not as two side-by-side ones, which is a common trick used by many 4K monitors to bypass physical limitations. Less important but nice to have : - It's a Dell. You may think what you want about Dell, but they're actually very good at monitors. - Semi-matte screen. Yay ! - USB ports galore. While it will take up one USB port on your iMac, you get an additional 3 USB 3.0 ports for your trouble. - All the cables you need are included. - It supports portrait mode. While that can be awkward on a 24" 16:9 monitor, it's also useful from time to time. First impressions - It looks nice enough. The bezels are ok. The overall finition is very good, and it feels sturdy and well made. - I'm using it on a VESA stand, so I didn't take a very good look at the stand, but again, it's sturdy, and looks like most Dell stands. I like having the option, and knowing that if I ever need it, it's fully adjustable (height, tilt and pivot). - The VESA mount : the screws are included. Thank you, Dell. Mounted and connected in 5 minutes, tops. - It's light enough that it won't pull my stand's arm down and it's easy to adjust and move around. Detection The monitor was automatically detected when I plugged it in - I didn't even restart the iMac. It's recognized as P2415Q, resolution is the right one right away, refresh rate is 60Hz, and, well, you plug it in and it just works. Awesome. One thing I was really surprised by : it works just the same in Windows 10 in Bootcamp. I was a bit worried about that, but I just booted into Windows, and the monitor was working, automatically set at the max resolution and 60Hz. I didn't have anything to do there either. Portrait mode also "just works" in both OS. All in all, I was expecting a bit of work, but it was all set and done as soon as I plugged the monitor in the iMac. Image and text quality As I'm now very much used to Retina, I didn't get the "wow" factor a lot of you have. But it's as good as you'd expect. The text is extremely crisp, clear and readable, even at 3840x2160. The only thing is, it's not very bright and I will have to play a bit with the settings. Side by side with the iMac, the whites are much less white by default, and it's clearly not as bright, even with the setting at 100% (probably a side effect of the semi-matte coating). But the definition is excellent. Note that I mostly work with text, so I can't and won't comment on photos and colors - not my domain. Conclusion : if you want a HiDPI monitor but can't afford, or don't have room for a 27" - go for it without hesitation. If you can get a 27" then please do : 3860x2160 on 24" will give you very small texts and icons. Although it's very readable, most people will have to play with scaling settings. If you do, be aware that a lot of apps, especially on Windows, don't manage that very well just yet. Windows itself does, but a fair number of apps look bad with scaling. No problems on Mac, since Retina has been there for 3 years and Apple pushed everybody to adjust their software.

Great work monitor if you have good enough eyesight to read at 4k. It is also an amazing gaming monitor.
I have a MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Mid-2015) and I use this 27" 4K Dell monitor as my extension. It has absolutely no backlight bleed. All colors are amazingly clear. I use the monitor for work and I love having all the space to keep most everything on one screen. Over the weekend I brought my PC with an EVGA GTX 980 TI graphics card to test it for gaming at the 4K resolution. The most modern game I have is the new Star Wars Battlefront that just released in late 2015. I had the graphics set to ultra at the 4k resolution and the picture was amazing. It is a pretty incredible experience to play a game on this 4k monitor. It might be overkill for most people. If you are considering gaming at 4K you should at least have the same graphics card I have. It played at average 35FPS at 4K which is a decent frame rate for gaming not the best. If you are serious about gaming at 4K then you probably want two of the GTX 980 Ti cards in SLI to increase your frame rate during gameplay. That would be a very expensive build though. The GTX 980 TI works best at 2560x1440 resolution. This is an awesome gaming monitor if you already have a computer that can handle the resolution at a high frame rate, but most gamers are plenty happy at the 1920x1080 or 2560x1440(2K) resolutions. Where I will 100% recommend this product is for work use. The resolution of a 4k monitor is equal to having four 1080p monitors in one. I can have so many windows open that are all visible at the same time and it increases productivity. I no longer have to switch between windows to enter information from one window to another. Everything on the monitor does get pretty small at 4K. Having the 27" model helps make things on the screen easier to read. I would recommend having good eyesight if you are going to purchase this for work use. I sit about 2.5 feet away from my monitor and I can read everything at the 4k resolution just fine. Most of my co-workers though couldn't handle it. Its not worth the money for this monitor if you can't read emails or webpages at the 4K resolution. Don't buy it just to adjust the resolution to 2K or 1080p either. Otherwise you are just spending more money for a monitor that you aren't using to its fullest capabilities.

Bought this as a gift for my daughter who is in final year of design program to use with her 2 year old 13” Mac Pro laptop. Setup was effortless and the included cable worked - no adapters required. Full resolution. She uses it every day - all day for full suite of Adobe products, autocad, rhino and sketch-up. She would rate it 12 out of 10 if that was possible.
