Monoprice Keystone Jack Panel, 24 ports

Allowed my to clean up my home lab garage setup running from a bridge wifi router to the house. The keystones that I picked were so tight to place that they are never going to come out. I had to use a crimped RJ45 cable for leverage to put them in so its there for the life of this setup. The only downer I had was needing to move the servers down a location was a little work. If it could have installed itself would have earned like 6 stars. Looks clean and meant I needed to crimp a couple more cables but still functions for a portable lab setup for me.

I needed a dense 1U, 24-port patch panel to finish a small network rack. The price was right on this one, and I've thus far had good experiences with Monoprice products, so I decided to give this one a try.Initially, I was cautious, thinking my existing keystones might not fit in this panel, since they could be packed too close together. However, I was relieved when all of them fit perfectly with no issues.I used:Leviton Voice Grade RJ11Leviton CAT 5e RJ45Shaxon Shielded Female/Female CAT 6a couplersIMBA Female/Female CAT 6 couplers sold by AmamxLeviton blanksThey all fit tightly. None of them were loose, even slightly. Rock solid. The panel itself is made from thicker steel than others I've used in the past. The spacing is even, and so are the slots. Also, the paint seems resilient enough to hold up easily over years of use.This panel worked out great for my application. Highly recommended!

I have installed over a hundred of these. Fits the Leviton style keystone jacks. The plate is metal but the holes are plastic instead of punched metal like the real Leviton part. Doesn’t have a lacing bar on the back. Holes aren’t super precise and occasionally one will be too narrow for the Jack and needs to be filed out. For One third the cost of the original, I can live with the limitations.

I purchased these before and they were all metal and work great. Like others stated these are not like the picture and made out of plastic. Also, the spacing is so tight that I ended up having to leave a gap in between every 2 keystone. Purchasing different manufactured one, so I can go back out to the client and swap it out.

I'm really impressed with the quality of this jack panel. I used it with the following components and they worked quite well.Startech 4U 19-Inch Steel Vertical Rack and Wall Mountable Server RackCable Matters® 25-Pack Cat6 RJ45 Keystone Jack in White and Keystone Punch-Down StandLeviton 41106-RW6 Voice Grade QuickPort Connector, WhitePros:- There are little white marking rectangles for writing data on each port spot.- Each one of the ports has a black plastic removable insert. A keystone jack mounts into this plastic insert. I like the fact that they are removable because I had a couple of really tight keystone jacks. By removing the black insert, installing the keystone jack into it, and then putting the whole thing back into the rack, I was able to clearly see what I was doing and avoided breaking anything while installing those tight keystone jacks.- Very little flex across the plate in a standard 19" rack.- Nice, slightly textured paint.Cons:- Priced several dollars higher on Amazon than on the Monoprice website. If you're purchasing multiple Monoprice items, it'd probably be cheaper to purchase this directly from Monopricedotcom.

Form, fit and finish are good. I installed 24pcs of RJ45 pass-through jacks. No issues of interference among them; they fit tightly and don't jiggle around.The sheetmetal stock seems a little thin and flexible. My unit came slightly warped, but it could be bent back into shape. No issues once mounted in the rack.

No issues. All jacks inserted fine. Connection is solid, not flimsy.

Works great. I was cleaning up the network area in home and this was much easier to use than a standard patch panel since the keystone jacks can be terminated separately then plugged into this simple panel. I reterminated some of my existing cables onto cat6 keystone jacks and used cat6 keystone couplers for the others. Everything looks nice and neat in this panel and the jacks seated perfectly - no loose ones. Recommended.

Este producto no soporta cualquier keystone probablemente solo los de monoprice lo que lo hace una mala compra, deberian de especificar que solo se utilizan los productos de monoprice con este producto, mala calidad de igual manera al intentar meter un keystone VCE se rompio una de las tabs que sostienen parte de los 4 inserts, ojala puedan revisar el producto en monoprice.

This is exactly what is says, a 24 port rack mountable keystone faceplate at a good price. If you want to be able to make your own patch panel with keystone jacks and manage the wires and terminators yourself, but this. If you want something else, buy something else. It’s solidly made and really grabs hold of the inserted jacks once you pop them in.

Monoprice makes some pretty great stuff. Feels robust.The delivery came in a white rectangular box. There was styrofoam covering the ends of the panel, along with a little plastic ziplock bag containing some zipties and 4x round black screws.I don't know what else to say. It's a hunk of metal that does it job if you're using modular keystones.

I ordered 2 of these. The first one that arrived is of a quality metal construction and looks like the picture, the second is made of cheap looking plastic that none of my keystone jacks will fit into. Not impressed. Will be returning the second one. I would not waste my time ordering this product again.
