Bayer - 79898851 Maxforce Complete 8 Ounce Bottle (TRTV1987)

This stuff is amazing!! Ants were gone in about a week and I had a pretty serious infestation! Bye bye fire ants! It also worked on the thousands of crickets too! Great product!

An exterminator buddy recommended this product to me years ago for the Argentinian ants that we have in Southern California. Since they aren’t loyal to one colony or queen you’re fighting the entire population. I used many different pesticides and sprays and home remedies with zero success. I put the max force gel out in several locations along their trail lines and within days they were gone. I have never had another flareup of ants or seen in it on my property in probably seven years now. I carry the rest of that tube in my car, and if I see flareups and other peoples properties in my travels, I will recommend it to them and share it with them. I recently secured a property out in the desert, which is a hunting club. Large red ants and have at the area and obviously enjoy being around the water and cleaning tables that we use. I purchased the granulated form of this a week ago and spread it out overnight I eradicated my ant issue. There was one of their area on the property that they were extremely bad and I applied the product in eradicated those overnight as well. I felt a little bad, but as anyone can attest it’s just unbearable to be co-habiting with biting and swarming pests. I personally never write reviews on products, but this one definite deserves completely positive review. So many different products online to purchase and try, when I wouldn’t waste my time with anything else other than MaxForce.

It killed all the gophers on the property. I was amazed at the effectiveness of the product. Sorry I was thinking about a different product. Good product works well

This is the absolute best!! I’ve been using this awhile now and it’s worth every penny spent!! I get red ant hills and as soon as I see one I sprinkle it around the hill and it starts working immediately! The ants start taking it down into the ground and before the day is over the ants are gone and nothing anywhere near the hill!! I haven’t used anything else since I found this and it can be used without worrying about my dogs!! I highly recommend this brand!!

Maxforce Comlete, Stops the fire ants in the spots you put it on but evidently it doesn’t kill all of them because they come back in other spots then. Just have to keep using it.

Had a problem with Argentine ants here in San Francisco. They always come in when it rains, or gets too cold outside. The ants seemed to ignore other baits/products and sprays only killed the ants locally and they eventually just created tracks elsewhere. One application of this product and within 3 days I couldn't spot any ants in the house. When the rains finally came again due to El Nino (2016), I was expecting a resurgence of ants in our home. None whatsoever were found. Upon further inspection of the outside of the house, the Argentine ants are once again in our green bin outside (compost), but not inside the house. Having captured a few queens as they tend to start new hives easily, I was worried I had missed a few colonies around the house and that eventually, they would come inside again. It was nice to see the effects of this product so immediately. However I'm running another test, putting the bait outside by the green bin to see what happens to the rest of the colonies (supercolony) in the area. This species is very resilient and will bounce back quickly if not mitigated effectively. I got this particular bait because a few websites recommended this particular bait for Argentine ants. It took a while to identify the ants as I don't have a good working microscope, but my cell phone took excellent macro pictures which I then used to identify the ants online. Before buying this product, I suggest you do the same: Identify the ants species, then look up control methods. Google for "Ant Identification Key" as the results will likely have helpful links. The bottle arrived with the seal broken, it wasn't glued on. I unscrewed the top and the seal came right off. The granules appeared to be slightly moist likely from not being sealed. I used it anyway hoping it would still work. I applied it on multiple fire ant mounds and let it sit for several days. I came back and still saw the granules near the ant mounds. I disturbed the mounds and the fire ants came out indicating the granules did nothing. I applied on a tree that was full of ants and they were not disturbed by it, they are still eating my tree as we speak. I may have received a faulty bottle, I don't know but I will try something else next.
