I have been wearing braces for years. These are very comfortable and work very well. They are a little hard to get on at first. Only thing bad I can say is they don’t hold your pants as well as the regular braces.

Well made and great for holding up hip waders

I like the clips, they really hold. My only concern is the length. They don't seem to make these for short people. Every brand I've bought has adjustment clips that i have to raise so far that they usually are on my collarbone or my shoulders. Not the best location when you're carrying things or using your shoulders. I like much better than a belt. I'm hesitant to modify (shorten) because of the stretch material. May have to try that anyway.

These suspenders are a great alternative to belts and 3 or 4 point suspenders. I'm a heavy guy, 5'9" 320 lbs so i have a belly. I also wear my pants at my hips instead of around my waist. So with belts the buckle tends to dig in to the underside of my belly which gets to be uncomfortable especially if I'm sitting for a long time. And the backside still slips down which is great for ventilation but not for anyone else around me. Other suspenders slip off or get snagged on things. And again the front clips tend to dig in. So these side clips are great they hold really well and never dig in. The clips did end up snagging once and coming free one side, but they came free not because the clip slipped but it actually tore through the material(they were a fairly old beat up pair of jeans). That is why I did end up converting these to button style though. Not because the clips are bad, they really are very good clips. But because I just prefer the button style for attaching them to my pants. I will give these a 5 star rating if they come in a button attachment style. Comfort wise they are great and after a few minutes wearing them I don't even notice them on any more. The size is great for me and I think there is still plenty of adjustment in the length in either direction.

As a person of a certain age, I've arrived at that stage in life when my belly is bigger than my booty, and thus I can't tighten my pants enough with a belt to keep them from sliding down when I bend over I typically wear heavy jeans or hiking pants, and the dress suspenders sold in most clothing stores aren't sturdy enough to do the job. Mostly, their clips are just too flimsy and easily loose their grip under even the slightest amount of strain.Not these bad boys. I've never had this pair loose its grip, thanks largely to the fact that the clips drive a stainless steel pin through the waistband in addition to the customary teeth. I worry, however, that repeated use of these clips will wear holes in a waistband over time, since the pin is sizable and must surely cause damage to the fabric every time it's inserted.Moreover, I find the width and thickness of these suspenders is just way more than I need. Perhaps if I were a much bigger guy wearing super heavy work clothes or overalls, the heft of these might be just right. But for me -- with regular jeans and occasional hiking pants, they're just too wide and noticeable. After a few uses, I retired these suspenders and replaced them with a different style of Hold-Ups -- still Trucker Style, but designed to be worn next to the skin while being less likely to trigger airport security scanners. While much less hefty, these lighter weight suspenders are more than adequate for my needs. Rather than using bulky clips, they adjust with velcro. Being narrower, their straps aren't so noticeable on my skin. And the "cam" connectors hold just as tightly as the full-size "pin" connectors, but being smaller they're much more comfortable and less likely to dig into waist, as beefier connectors sometimes do.

I like them

I have been using these everyday I go to work and sometimes around the house when working on something. After a full day of working with tools in my pockets, you can notice it later on in the shoulders. At least that’s for me. These are the first suspenders I have ever used so can’t really compare them to others. But after about 3 months, they are going strong and I would definitely recommend trying them. They are great especially for the money.

Regular suspenders hold up pants better Have worn regular holdup suspenders from you fore year’s and swill go back to them money wasted on these!!!
