NTS travel cooker ITC-AV500 AC100~240V 1.3L

Well packed for shipping. Arrived much earlier. Quality product and works as described. Cook time is reasonably short as indicated. Water boils in minutes. Handle seems solid and heating element seems reasonably insulated as far as heat is concerned. But Heating element is still quite hot when the water boils.

Nice design, very compact. Works well. Just used it to make ramen noodles. It heats up fairly well.

It works but price is bit high ! Quality is average!

This little travel cooker is available under a couple of different brand names and they are absolutely fantastic for traveling, when electricity is available. The stove nests inside the pot, making it a compact package to even fit in carry on baggage. It is switcheable between 110 and 220 Volts to allow universal use. The pot is made out of Stainless Steel which I prefer over aluminum. It heats up rather quickly considering the power output and after all it is not your high powered home stove. It also cools down faster then the cast iron heat elements found on some German or Italien model travel stoves and cooling can be further accelerated by placing the pot filled with cold water on it after cooking. It doesn't have a temperature adjustment, only on and off, but I have not found that to be a problem. I have boiled, scrambled and cooked a number of meals already. I use it together with a 2 tier Stainless Steel Tiffin (aka Bento Lunch Box or Food Carrier) for a full culinary compliment. As you will see in the attached pictures, I drilled holes through out the bottom of one of the Tiffin tiers, which allow me to use it as a steamer. A 14 cm diameter Tiffin fits perfectly on top of the pot that comes with the travel cooker. I have a couple of sets of these steamer Tiffins and succesfully used 2 double stacked steamers on the pot to prepare steamed vegetables for the two of us. While traveling I fill the Tiffins with gear or clothes to not waste precious luggage space.

車中泊用に電気クッカーを探していたところ、蓋付きのステンレス製鍋付きで安定感がありそうな本品が目に留まりました。 届いて早速試してみました。 自分の場合はカップラーメンや湯煎、スティックコーヒーがメインとなりそうなので500mlと200mlの2通りで沸騰までの時間を計ってみました。 最初は500mlで沸騰までに７分半、初回は本体から煙が出るんですね。次に200mlで３分半でした。 この鍋にはきちんと握って使えるハンドルが付いており、収納の際には鍋の中に本体を入れてハンドルは鍋中心側へ反転させられるので、大きさの割にコンパクトです。 あとは耐久性があればとても良い品ですね。

油断すると焦げて大変なことになってしまいますが…。すぐ炊けて便利です。 少し重いのが…。

昨年7/20に注文。 昨夏、年末年始、今夏の旅行先の ホテルでたまに使っていたのですが、 保証期間の1年が過ぎた8月初旬 突然加熱できなくなりました。 通算10日ほどの利用なので 高い買い物となりました。 残念です。 結構重さがあるので 現地で捨ててくるか検討中... ステンレス製でコンパクトなのはいいのですが、 とにかく直ぐ焦げ付くので、 直接食品を調理しないで、 お湯を沸かして温めるのに 使うとストレスないです。 鍋を洗うために重曹パウダーと 激落ちスポンジ持参がオススメです。

海外出張でのホテル内調理用で購入。 中国で問題なく使えました。 ヤザワの物はこれの半額程で購入できますが、「沸騰しない」やら「すぐに壊れた」とのコメントが多かった為、こちらを購入（購入後こちらのレビューをよく見たら「すぐに壊れた」コメントがかなりありましたね・・・）。 ちゃんと沸騰しパスタ、蕎麦を茹で、パックご飯を湯せんすることができました。 「100V/350W」でそんなにすぐにお湯が沸くとも考えてなかったので、沸騰継続できるだけでも満足です。沸騰後電源OFFにしてもしばらくコポコポ言ってました。確かに冷めにくい。 ステンレスの鍋は見た目より薄くて軽いです。ただ本体はやはりそこそこ重く感じます。もう少し軽いとありがたいですね。 今回はお米は炊かなったのですが、コメントをみる限りではあまりうまく炊けないみたいですね。100均で売ってる「お米が炊ける袋」でも使ってみようと思います。 ちょっとお高いので星－一つ、4～5回使いましたが、今後壊れないで使えることを期待し星四つとします。
