Meh, the tent itself was good, but the poles weren't and one snapped on the first outing...
At first glance, I really liked the look and functionality of this tent. But the first time I went camping in it one of the poles snapped when I set it up and I wasn't being rough with it at all. I was pretty upset this happened on my first camping outing with it because the rest of the quality of the tent seemed to be pretty good. Though, I wouldn't buy it again for the same price since one of the poles snapped so quickly. I figured since the poles were aluminum they would last much longer, but I was wrong. I feel like the manufacturer spent all the money on the tent and just through some cheaply made aluminum poles in with the tent (or maybe I was just unlucky and got a bad batch?)That said, the rest of the tent was constructed very well. I liked it had two doors and full rainfly with plenty of vestibule space. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this tent for the price of one hundred and twenty dollars when the poles appear to be junk. Also, the branding on the side of the tent with the huge scorpion looks a little tacky and not very fitting as well. The branding would look a lot better with a more subtle logo/icon, but I guess that's personal preference and taste.Another thing is although the tent compacted down to about the size a little smaller than a football when cinched up in its stuff sack, it still felt kinda heavy at around five pounds and I would've been a much happier backpacker if I would have just paid a little more for better poles and lighter weight tent.PROS ( and why I chose to buy it)Has full rainflyHas two doorsHas heavy-duty YKK zippers and zipped easily and niceHas extra ventilation lift/flaps on the rainfly. The main colors and style weren't that bad and I like greenThe poles would compact down to about 15 inches in length, and at the time of purchase, I couldn't find any tent in this similar price range that had poles that could compact down this short. It was under 130 dollars at the time of purchase.CONSThe aluminum poles seem cheap or flawed. One broke upon first setting the tent up with little tension. The logo with Scorpion seems unfitting and loud when compared to the overall sleek design of the rest of the tent.It could have used a bit more mesh for ventilation. This tent can be hot in mid-summer months even with the rainfly off as I discovered after taping the broken pole with duct tap and trying it out on a hot July night... I've used other tents that ventilate considerably better and I would've been happier using this tent in the early spring or early fall and using a different tent with more ventilation.CONCLUSION:I wish I would've waited and saved my money and bought a different tent with better poles and better ventilation for the hot summer months. In the end, I ended up giving it away to a homeless guy I had seen and looking for something else.Three stars for the zippers, nice fabric, taped seams, and full rainfly.

... for a while now and it has held up wonderfully. Very roomy for one person
I've had this for a while now and it has held up wonderfully. Very roomy for one person, just the right amount of room for two people. Really quick and easy set-up and take-down processes.

good tent design, poor quality
good ventilation, but not a 3-season tent in my opinion.temps got down to the mid-20s the march night i used it in texas & thank god for good quality sleeping bags. i appreciated the low vent on the side, but the rain fly didnt reach the ground completely and wind blew dust right into the tent thru the mesh. makes me think it'd be the same if it was a windy rainy night. needless to say, it was COLD.but i would have kept the tent for summer use if it were not for the poor quality floor. its not reinforced at all. the ground was too firm for the SUPER soft stakes the tent came with, so we used rocks to weigh down the tent (which was on top of rolled out yoga mats and a tarp) but in the morning found that the rocks (which never moved), punctured the floor.the only other thing i didnt like was that the vestibule zipper was directly in the center of the door, so getting in & out required a little wiggling.its too bad, cuz i liked the design.

Very Good Product
We will be heading to Europe for a week long camping trip and squeezing two people into a 1 man tent was simply not going to happen. Despite the small amount of reviews we decided to give this tent a shot and I am glad we did.Setup: First know that this tent does not include instructions, but set up is so simple you cant possibly mess it up. It will take two people to set this ting up as the tent poles are extremely tight when put into their grommets. All that aside though, a first setup for a tent this size took us about 10 munites. Now that we know how it is set up, it should take us about 3 minutes.Size: This tent is amazingly roomy when set up. There is enough room for two full sized adults, both gear packs (which are very large) at our feet as well as sleeping pads. You may need something a little longer if you're near 6'4" but it fit me comfortably and I am 6'2". Packed up this thing is amazing! it comes with adjustable straps on the bag so you can really compress it down to a small size. My small sleeping bag takes up more room than this entire tent.Quality: Overall I feel this tent is made with quality materials. The bottom seems a tiny bit thin, but not enough to be worried about it. The poles are very easy to use and extremely high quality and they all line up flush when assembled. The one down side (-1 star) is without the rain cover on the tent it is virtually transparent looking in from the outside. The rain cover is very sturdy and easy to put on however and it will always be on most likely for our excursion.I will return and edit this for weather resistance and how well it holds up when we return from our trip. If you're on the fence about this tent or one of the more inexpensive ones I'd say choose this tent.Additional notes: I cant get enough use out of this tent. It makes traveling overseas much easier due to its small footprint and lightweight design. It held up to a massive rainstorm without a single leak. When we arrived it was already raining and having a tent that sets up this quickly was a huge plus! I see getting many years of use out of this tent at the festivals i attend overseas as well as general camping trips.
