I had an old chain, maybe 12-14 years, that just wore out. I wore my wife's rings on it. Last weekend I stood up and all of the rings hit the floor, chain came apart at the latch. I found this to replace that one. This is a very good looking rope chain. The size is just right for the weight of the rings. Picked the length to keep the rings at heart level. Chain looks more expensive than it costs. Latches are very sturdy, this should last a very long time.

I got the 2 mm 22 inch necklace and 2 mm( 8 inch) bracelet as well the bracelet is a little loose however both look and feel very solid. I had a very expensive one that I broke and it honestly looks just like my old one! It came 5 days sooner than expected! Right on time for Mother’s Day! So yes I am super happy right now. I love great customer service. Now hopefully they hold up their end on on their life time warranty! If so it doesn’t get any better than this for the price. I’ll send and update on how long it’s lasts or if it’s tarnishes.UpdateI contracted customer service about my bracelet since it was too loose Jon contacted me right back and sent me a new one right away and it came 2 days early! It’s been a month so far and both are still shining bright .... they have gained a loyal customer :)

The gold plating is horrible and has worn down and oxidized in only two months….causing bluish/black staining on my neck!!I’ve bought gold chains from this company at least three or four times in the last ten years because I ALWAYS wear a heart charm with some of my Dad’s ashes in it…..It’s only ever come off for surgery or imaging. After a couple of years it’s not unusual that I’ll get a king in it that I can’t get out, but the gold-plating has been stellar…..even after swimming for years in a public pool! For this reason, I just haven’t bothered going to other venders for these important chains.I bought my last chain in January 2024, and started wearing it on Feb. 5th, the day it arrived. It hasn’t even been TWO MONTHS, and today I noticed what I thought was a bruise around my neck….which turned out to be an oxidation ring. This has NEVER happened before with the chains I bought from this company. I also noticed that the chain was feeling rough to the touch where even my oldest ones still feel smooth, possibly accounting for some of the redness I noticed around my neck as well. I don’t know what is different, but this was really disappointing.Item was a 22”, 2mm, 24K gold plated/diamond cut chain. (Very pretty, but does not wear well)

This necklace is a winner. This is my 4th purchase from Lifetime Jewelry and my wife could not be more pleased. All the qualities advertised really are obvious from the time my she opens the box and for years later. Definitely a cut above most costume jewelry.Yes, the jewelers bronze base metal really is quite strong and does indeed stand up to frequent use. The extra thick silver plating (in this case Rhodium) sparkles and certainly does look like new for years -- and without tarnish. The lobster claw clasp is reliable and is easy for my wife to put on and take off.Lifetime Jewelry necklaces look like expensive solid chains. This is top drawer jewelry and my wife gets frequent complements. After four necklace purchases and years of use, my wife smiles every time she wears them. Highly recommended.

My wife initially gifted me a rope chain for our anniversary, however ordering it online from a jewelry store and when it arrived it was very thick (5mm+). After that, I went on the hunt for a nice chain that would last me a very long time and hold up to every day use, which landed me to order one from GLD.I saw a lot of hype around the brand, with their special coating they put on their gold chains as well as the lifetime warranty, I was sold. Once I received it (great presentation), I fell in love with the look and durability, however their only options were 18”, 20” and 24”, no 22”. I went with the 20”, not really knowing what size I’d need since the model was super skinny (I’m 6’ 195lbs). The 20” was way too tight on my broad neck and I knew I couldn’t keep it, but I also knew that I did not want the 24”.I began my search, yet again, and finally came across this brand AND they had it in 22”. Perfect! The material, weight, everything is just as good as the GLD except the clasp (GLD’s clasps are just top notch).Super happy with this chain and hope it lasts! Thanks LJ.

I previously bought a similar chain from a mall kiosk and it broke. I had the extended warranty so I replaced it but it broke again. I decided to go a different route and try Amazon and this seemed like the best quality for the price and got good reviews. I originally purchased the 3 mm chain but the clasp was too big and my pendant would not fit on it. I contacted the seller and they were very helpful. I ended up returning that one and getting the 2 mm which is perfect and the pendant slides right on. It looks like real gold and seems like it will hold up. I am very happy with the product and the company and customer service and responsiveness.

The piece is beautiful when new. Best if not used everyday. The customer service is amazing.The first necklace broke within one month and was replaced. The necklace in the photo lasted two years and the chain failed. The gold plating did not last as you can see in the photo. There are a few sparkles in the photo but that was all. We reported the the broken chain and a new necklace was delivered in a few days.

I love my chain. It is very nice looking and looks like real gold
