Reflex Bicycle Helmet Mirror Replacement Parts Kit

Love the mirror. Am absolutely dependant on it for situational awareness when riding. The only problem I have had is that the mirror, over time falls off or gets knocked off. I have lost at least 3 mirrors...now I have replacements. Will not ride without it.

Do not buy this package if all you need os the adhesive as it is worthless. The backing doesnt come off without pulling some of the padding with it, leaving a worthless pad without any adhesive on it. If you need the other replacement parts go for it. I primarily bought it for the right sized adhesive pad, thinking that I would have the other parts as backup.

The Mirror can pop of when bumped, so loading bikes or bag straps might help one lose the mirror from the helmet. It is nice to replace the part you want as opposed to buying a whole new package.

I got used to using this mirror and am now reluctant to ride without it. I bought THREE mirrors over a couple years - lost or broke them, but loved them enough to spend $20 each time. This last time, a friend showed me the repair kit and I ordered it. Replaced the little doohickey the mirror slips into as well as the mirror. Good as new at about half the price.

It's next to impossible to remove the sticker-cover paper without pulling the sticky surface/foam off too. Luckily the kit comes with two of the bases. I ruined the first one, and almost ruined the second one, but was finally able to remove the cover paper without pulling the sticky off with it. I love the this mirror, but this replacement kit leave a lot to be desired.

I really like the replacement mirror and socket. My old mirror was scratched heavily when it had come out of its socket at a rest stop and I didn't realize it until later. I went back to to get it the next day and apparently several cars had driven over it but it still functioned. Overall I've been satisfied with the Cycleaware Reflex Helmet Mirror. My only problem with it has been the short life of it's adhesive pads. I have followed the instructions by letting them set several hours, etc but they are only lasting a couple of months before they start losing their grip. I then attached a couple of thin zip fasteners around the helmet and mirror base which seems to be working well. Unfortunately that means I cannot take the arm off of the base, which for me is not a big deal. I still like this mirror a lot better than others on the market but they need to consider a better method of attaching it to helmets.

I had to get this replacement mirror because my old one fell off the holder. This didn't quite fit on as expected, but with a little fiddling I got it on, and it stays on very well. I love this mirror, it has made my rides so much safer and it's easy to use, once you get used to it.

I received the Reflex Flexible Helmet Mirror as a gift, which has been great. It has been the best bicycle mirror I have ever found.I bought this replacement parts kit to back up the Mirror. Unfortunately, when I opened up the kit for the first time because I needed to re-attach the base to my helmet, both two adhesives were defective.I want Cycleaware to send me two replacement adhesives that are not defective. If they do, I will change my review to five stars.
