InflameAway Celadrin Cream - Advanced Joint & Muscle Pain Relieving Cream - 6 oz

This gives good temporary relief to joint pain. The two downsides are that, on the one hand, it only lasts a few hours, and on the other, it does not treat the underlying issue at all.

AS headline says I like this product for the few times I've used. Not a bad smell, absorbs well.

I have sever joint and back pain which is common for an advanced gym goer. Been lifting for over 15 years and my body has accumulated some aches and pains along the way. I was a little hesitant to use this as it says the only active ingredient is menthol. So I did not expect much as I have used menthol products in the past and they do work but nothing crazy for joint pain. I bought and tried anyways despite me doubts. I use it on my elbows knees and lower back and hip and wow what a difference. It really is fast acting as within 30 min and the lotion fully absorbs and drys on the skin do I start feeling better. I put it on my back every night before bed and it definitely attributes to a better night sleep. I use it on my knees and elbows before the gym and the effects last well past my heavy workouts and I am pain free long after I get home. Absorbs pretty quick, not to strong of a smell, fast acting, long lasting.

InflameAway Celadrin works very well for me. I've been dealing with a shoulder injury for about six months, and I have tried almost every pain control cream and gel on the market. This is one of the best I've found.Some of the gels I've tried work very quickly, but don't maanage the pain for very long. InflameAway Celadrin takes a bit longer to take effect, but nnowhere near the 30 minutes suggested in the product description. I usually feel some relief within 10 minutes, and most of the pain is gone in 15 - 20 minutes. And InflameAway keeps the pain level down for much longer than the other products I've used.InflameAway has a slight peppermint odor when first applied, but that dissapates quickly. It does leave the skin feeling a bit tacky for quite a while, but I feel that's a small price to pay for the pain relief it provides.There are a couple of other gels I use when I need quick relief from severe pain. But InflameAway is my go-to pain control treatment for daily use.UPDATEI just ordered two more jars of this product, and it came in a slightly different package (blister card instead of box), and didn't have the InflameAway name. The consistency of the cream is also a bit thicker, more like face cream. I wrote to the Amazon seller and they confirmed that it is the same product, so apparently the manufacturer changed the packaging. I like the thicker consistency, and aside from that the product works the same.

This cream is amazing. I've had joint issues in my knee for over a year now. The doctor told me is just part of aging, especially when I've had careers that keep me on my feet all day. I've tried all kinds of creams and pills to help with the pain and inflammation to only get a little relief for a few hours, if at all. This cream, after using twice a day for a month has completely gotten rid of my pain. I rub it on first thing in the morning and then again at bed time. I am blown away by how great my knee feels! The mint smell is faint and goes away after a couple of minutes. The first time I used this cream I noticed the pain decreasing in about 30 min and was completely gone in about an hour. Before using this cream I had to wear a brace anytime I did more walking than just around the house. We went on vacation to the beach, after I had been using the cream for 3weeks, I wore the brace in the airport only, more as precaution, due to airports being so big, walking on the beach was no problem at all, and some days I walked several miles! Pain free!

After one jar of Caladrin Cream, I'm a believer. I'm happy with the ingredients list (and I'm one hard to please ol' gal in that respect). I have arthritis in my upper back, and I bought a strap to apply the cream to my back after my bath. It feels like my back is aglow and helps loosen me up. But the most impressive thing I've discovered is how well it helps with pain and soreness after exertion. My son and I discovered a beautiful river trail one fine autumn day recently, and we walked for 5 hours. I walk in my neighborhood for 30 minutes or so a day, but my body wasn't up to such a strenuous walk, and by the time we got home, I was hobbling around like an old lady (no offense to seniors; I'm one of them). I figured I'd be out of commission for a day or two, and we had another hike planned that I hated to miss.I took a hot shower and rubbed in the Caladrin over the lower half of my body, just like my usual body lotion. It felt wonderful, and the next morning, I got up and wondered where the soreness was. So, I'm sold. This cream will be my companion for the duration.

If you need a good "Heet"-style cream for sore muscles and joints, this does the job. I can't honestly say that it completely got rid of my inflammation, but it did help with pain and stiffness so I'm happy with it.
