Has a funky smell, presumably associated with the odor control characteristics. More importantly, however, the bags are a bit delicate. While collecting twigs and vines, one of the bags tore rather badly under light pressure. May want to use this for leaves only.

First, I rarely ever write bad reviws. I bought these because they were approved for the city of Houston's program. They are horrible bags...they tear when you touch them. Don't even think about a single twig being in the bag, it will rip. Seriously the worst bags I've ever tried to use. I had to double bag just to pick up about 5 gallons of completely dry leaves, and I'm not even sure the bag will hold until trash day. I will never buy these again.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. I realize that compostable bags obviously need to be handled with care given they are made of organic material but I couldn't even get a single bag out of the box without it falling apart. In addition to this, these were sold with the description that they had the City of Houston approved logo but they do not. Don't buy these, they are terrible.

I honestly couldn't even open one of these bags without ripping them. I don't understand the point of a compostable bag if it doesn't stay intact enough to use.

None of the bags are of usable quality. They fell apart being pulled out of the box.

These are horrible!! The bags break apart as you take them out of the box. If you get one out that does not come apart, it comes apart at the seams when you put leaves in the bag! DO NOT BUY THESE

First of all these bags have a horrible chemical smell. Second they fall apart while opening. I tried to open 2 bags; both came apart at the bottom while unfolding them. I gave up after that and will try to return. Don't buy these!!!!
