Love this light weight hedger. Noise meter on watch didn’t go off and easy to use in all directions. I’m late 50’s, not muscular and was able to use safely. I could hold it above my head, sideways to open space between over grown shrubs, no cords, AMEN. Stayed charged over an hour, longer than I could go. Long enough to reach across deep shrubs. Was able to cut through thick branches, I put it through the rounds. I was also able to do detailed work as well, very versatile. Bravo, to a great trimmer/hedger for all ages and genders.

Workhorse! I keep long Privet hedges trimmed weekly during the growing seasons but, at 82, the gas and 22-in corded trimmer I alternately use have become challenging. After reading the reviews, I bought the B & D 20V Max cordless which came with a battery and charger. What a game changer! It is light, holds a 30-45 min charge, and easily maintained trim on not only the Privets, but sliced through new growth on Pittosporum, Carolina Cherry, and Indian Hawthorn. Because I have a large yard with so many shrubs, I bought an 2 additional 20V Max 600AH replacement batteries. I generally need to switch off before work is done. But, so much easier than adding gas or extending the cord. I now use the cordless hedge trimmer for about 80% of the trimming and finish with either the gas or corded trimmers about once a month as necessary. This is not the trimmer for you if shrubs are not already well-maintained. It will not handle overgrown shrubs or hedges that need strong cutting ability. But it absolutely works to keep shrubs neat and eliminates the noisy gas trimmer and cursing the long cord snagging every few feet.

I love this hedge trimmer! I am 75 and needed something not too heavy and this is perfect for me! And it cuts quite well! I have ornamental grasses that need cut down every spring. They are very fibrous and this trimmer cut right through them. I can easily trim my other bushes. It's not as noisy as my other heavier trimmer. Highly recommend! It also held it's charge quite well, longer than 30 minutes as expected.

I have become a huge fan of Black & Decker cordless tools. They are inexpensive but not cheap. Perfect for homeowner use. I have a blower that is a bit underpowered but fine for blowing off the garage floor or patio. I have a chainsaw that is as good as any corded chainsaw I ever had. I just got the hedge trimmer and used it immediately. It is the best hedge trimmer I've ever had and I have three. The trigger setup is perfect for one hand use and it instantly shuts down when you release the trigger for safety. And the batteries last.

the 22" Blade is so more efficient and superior to my previous Black and Decker corded 14" model. Much easier to 'sweep' over the top of my bushes therefore, decreasing time and labor involved. I would highly recommend the battery powered model vs the electric corded one. No worry about cutting the extension cord and saves time by not having to 'position' the tool to assure no cord is cut. The battery allowed me to trim 12+ bushes and never slowed down.

Outstanding! Light weight, plenty of power, long lasting charge battery, very sharp blades cut like butter, the best trimmer I ever used for cutting my hedges at this level.

I've only had this hedge trimmer for two days, and it has already made a huge difference in the look of my yard. This is another great tool from Black+Decker. Since I own several of their tools, I am convinced this is a great brand I will stick with. Not to mention, it's incredibly convenient that all the tools share the same battery. Overall, it's a fantastic value for the money!

I bought this because my 24" wired hedger quit working. I am so impressed by how much power this has compared to my old one. It does not hesitate when cutting branches. It cuts smoothly and precisely without hesitation. The battery lasted long enough for me to do the entire job, and I did not need to worry about cutting a cord! My only regret is that I didn't buy this sooner!

SIN PROBLEMA, LO USE APROXIMADAMENTE UNOS 20 MINUTOS Y TRABAJO SIN INCONVENIENTES Y TODA VIA LE QUEDABA CARGA A LA BATERIA.

Hasta el momento ha sido buena la herramienta, la pila dura para bastantes prados, lo mejor es que no se siente pesada después de mucho tiempo podando sobre la cabeza, por el precio es excelente compra. Con una sola pila me alcanzo para podar esos prados, se me hace muy buen tramo, 86 m2
