MSR Groundhog Tent Stake Kit

I am pretty hard on tent stakes and tend to bend them. These stakes are incredibly lightweight, yet sturdy. I was concerned that they might not have enough of a groove to really hold the guy lines of my tent, but these are perfect. I’ve used them to set up a tarp cover for camping without a tent and also for my tent in rough weather. They were fantastic and work well in a variety of soils/sands. They are easy to remove using the loop. Looking forward to using them for a long time. Wish I had bought them sooner.

Got these on sale, $19.99 USD for a set of 6, so i bought three sets! My brother and I both needed tent stakes for our new Durston Xmid's (check them out they're awesome tents) and I wanted Groundhogs specifically due to all the great word of mouth reviews, and these things do NOT dissapoint!! All you need to do is stick them into the ground once, and try pulling it out by hand, and you will see the great holding strength of these. Drive them in at a 45 degree angle to counter against your tent and these things arent going anywhere! I've even tested them against some hard rocky ground (camping on the Canadian shield) and no bent stakes, everything held! These are absolutely worth the money. They're also lightweight!Because of the deal i was hesitant that these were genuine MSR groundhogs, but i got in contact with MSR and sent them pictures and they confirmed that they are indeed authentic. So no worries about cheap knockoffs, these are the real deal :DIf you're Canadian, and you see these on sale again, do not hesitate, buy em!! for three sets, at $19.99 USD, after conversion, taxes, and import fees, all came to 101.83 CAD split em and the cost with your brother/friend, and boom, you got 9 stakes! Cross reference that pricetag with Canadian stores and see if it's still a deal, i got this June 2024

Lightweight, durable. I added several more of these to my stash with this order, some are years old. Always reliable, with a mallet, works great even in packed gravel.

Light weight, will not bend, stays in the ground.

As everyone has ever said, excellent stakes that are lightweight and do the job perfectly. Would recommend these stakes

May require something flat if you are pushing them in by hand. Good value. Work well. I prefer the aluminum stakes that look like a fat knitting needle.

I love these stakes! Extremely durable. Used in firm soil with some rocky attributes. Not a single bent stake. Cuts through the ground with ease. Very lightweight. The string helps remove the stakes easily.

Ya los estrené en terreno medio duro y rocoso, les dí su clavada con hacha y la verdad que dieron buen servicio. Los usé tanto para un toldo y para sustituir los de la tienda, se vino la tormenta y bastante viendo, no se movieron NADA. Costosos pero excelentes, compraré otro kit para ya sustituir todos los de la tienda.

It's no wonder these stakes are the top rated on outdoor gear review sites. They are tough and hold extremely well. Ten out of ten rating from me.

Canada review. Both of these came from Amazon, but only one had MSR laser etching on the stakes.On the left are legit MSR stakes, they have laser etching, feel more solid, they sound more solid, the pull rope is quality and isn’t frayed upon arrival.Buy the real MSR stakes, the Chinese knockoffs (on the right) are being returned. Know your gear and don’t buy Chinese knockoffs.

Sie sind einfach toll. Der dreieckige Kopf hat auf jeder Seite einen Schlitz, was ganz praktisch ist. Die Heringe sind auch leicht gedreht, dadurch gehen sie etwas leichter in den Boden und bleiben stabil. Dszu sind sie leicht. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
