PROS: 1) Comes complete with the fixings for 2 attachment methods 2) Quick release for cleaning (if you use the clip on fixings) 3) Very easy to fit 4) Slow close mechanism CONS: 1) Thinnish material (to be expected for the price) 2) Slow close mechanism too slow and needs help This toilet seat was bought due to the usual loose fitting, wobbly toilet seat situation. I made a mistake in buying this particular product (which is not the product’s or manufacturer’s fault) when I hoped to get a bargain. However, the issue is that this seat and cover are quite light and made from a material you might find in a public lavatory where the seats might get broken or need replacement often. It’s a bendy plastic. Again, I cannot complain because of the price paid. It is very, very easy to fit, especially if you use the quick release top clip method. This consists of a rubber encased screw/bolt which when tightened causes the rubber to form a bung in the hole, preventing it moving. It’s then a simple matter of push fitting the metal caps onto the fixing and mounting the seat by clicking it into place on the visible pins. This seat is 46cm from front to back and initially it looked like it would overhang the bowl at true front. However, the fixing has a slide which (in this case) when slid to its furthest position and the posts rotated to their furthest position, corrected the problem. Also, you might feel that you can’t fit the seat due to the spacing between the holes in the bowl. This is solved in the same way by sliding the fixing until the correct distance of the mounting holes in the seat align with the metal posts on the fixing. I will change this seat in the near future, but if you are a landlord for student accommodation or perhaps a nursing home where regular seat changes may be necessary this is a good seat. Where you might want to lavish your posterior with higher quality materials, this is not the answer. However, this is DOTTORE APPROVED within the constraints of the review.

Took five minutes to install. Take the old seat off and then you push these rubber protected screws through the hole. You’ll still need to hold the rubber nut underneath the toilet when you’re screwing down to tighten it. So it’s not entirely done from on top of the toilet as I expected. But once those round plates are mounted and screwed in, the seat/lid simply slot onto the pins and it auto locks. I’m clumsy and useless at diy but managed to install this in minutes without me wanting to smash the toilet to pieces in anger. :) It has a soft close lid and seat. So no need for the wife to wake the street up when she drunkenly knocks the seat down at 2am. I’m going to order more of these for our downstairs toilet and en suite next.

Its not often I feel impressed by a product but this is one of them, it a standard soft close loo seat but I have never seen the way the seat is attached to the bowl like this one is, it took 15 minutes to remove the old seat and 5 minutes to fit the new one, It fits from the top not underneath like others, it was a one person job and only a X screwdriver needed. the rubber bung was a little tight, but a little washing-up liquid sorted that.

Easy to fit but the soft close lid needed to be pushed down but I'm happy with the quality for the price

This is a great toilet seat if your the heavier person . comfortable to sit on easy to fit (10 mins ) and seems sturdy enough to last .suitable for kids .easy to open and has slow closing smooth operation.woild recommend and will definitely buy again if I need another 1

The seat closes perfectly, the seat and lid if closed together are perfect, closing the lid by itself needs some assistance or stays stationary.

Finalmente un copriwater che non "balla" grazie all'installazione dall'alto con il tassello che riempie completamente il buco. Facilissimo da installare e pratico da pulire
