Fantastic kit! great price and works better than expected, my only regret is not buying 2 or 3 kits because of how versatile they are. Example one set watching side entry with audible alert for security, another set for in the porch watching for deliveries, guests and post. Pro tip that I discovered, if you have a mirror, you can expand the sensor range and angle.

The Mengshen motion sensor alarm is powered by 3 AA batteries for each of the 2 receivers and 3 AAA batteries for the transmitter that are not included in the kit. The photos on Amazon show the transmitter in various locations including a sheltered outdoor location but the instruction sheet clearly states that the device is for indoor use only. I’ve set the device up in doorbell mode and the signal range is excellent and there have been no false alarms so far. There are a wide range of tones and around 35 melodies but the simple ding-dong and very bright flashing LED light is the best option in my opinion. There are a small number of videos on YouTube that demonstrate the device setup and melodies so it may be worth checking them out before purchase saving you some time and inconvenience of returning the product if unsuitable. Bought for the shop door. Took a bit of sorting to get the angle right so that it didn't detect people inside the shop or those walking past outside. I also have to be careful not to put any stock that blows in the wind near the sensor. But once set up it works perfectly and allows me to go to the loo or the stockroom without worry.

We didn’t want a cat flap, so we put the sensor outside when we let the cat out. Bell rings when it senses the cat at the back door. Accidentally left the sensor out all night in a rainstorm and still works ok. Loads of ringtones to choose from.

Use now, feel general, sometimes infrared sensor good, sometimes infrared sensor failure. But it's pretty simple to install.

My pond fish were being eaten by a predator and this brilliant motion sensor has given me peace of mind and saved my pond fish. Its so easy to set up and the alarm is loud and does the job. Love it

Fantastic product, this replaces my old one, great detection, having more than one sensor is fantastic and I love that I can move the sound receiver to what ever treatment room in. As I’m in a beauty salon and work alone this is ideal for me, it has a number of welcoming tunes and also two light ones one that changes colour ideal if I’m in a massage and don’t want to disturb my client, so there is no noise but still alerts me 😀

Einfache Installation und Inbetriebnahme. Zwei Sensoren die man ankleben oder festschrauben und vielfältig einstellen kann. Der Empfänger hat eine Menge Melodien (die man eigentlich nicht wirklich braucht) und diverse akustische Signale. Er ist sehr laut lässt sich aber gut leiser stellen. In meinem Fall war die Lautstärke goldrichtig da ich etwas schwerhörig bin. Eingesetzt habe ich das Gerät im Urlaub (wo wir schon mal einen unbemerkten Diebstahl im Apartment hatten) wobei ein Sensor an dem Teppen Aufgang zur unserem Apartment montiert war und der zweite an der Terrasse. Es war wirklich keine Möglichkeit vorhanden diese umzugehen. Einfach super. Auch der Empfang war trotz beträchtlicher Entfernung und Zwischenwände zwischen Sensor und Empfänger einwandfrei. Das Gerät wird nun bei mir zuhause seine Verwendung finden. Aus meiner Sicht eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

This works great. We put one up by our garage and one by out shed. I was able to program them for different colours depending on which one was being set off. This is so handy to know what area is going off. We've had prowlers in our backyard and they stole little petty stuff but still felt violated. Now we can catch them in the act and call the police without them even knowing because the receiver is in the house. So far the batteries are lasting really well since we turn it off during the day when we are around and awake, turn it on at night once we go in the house. We can bring the receiver downstairs or upstairs since it is battery operated. Highly recommend this for an easy monitoring system.
