EXCELLENT reading so loved book 3
I truly believe between book 1 and now book 3 this is def my Fave ... I did not think a Man could be better described than Jude was ... But Cam is an awesome character description...here we have the story of Cam and Paige. I loved Paige she’s spunky, smart and a bit of a smart alek she’s talented, determined to make her way and stand on her own two feet. Her family which seems to be a blessing and a curse at times is one of the strengths that make Paige the woman she is.Cam Montgomery starts off as kind of a jerk. Whether she ran into him or him into her it was an accident and you say your sorry or excuse me. It’s just polite. But then he continues to be said jerk when he realizes the next day that Paige is the woman who’s going to be helping him out with his kids for the next week. At this point he could have been decent but again he acts like a jerk.Paoge handles it. She doesn’t let him get to her. She’s just unapologetically herself and rally's for the kids benefit and put Cams grumpy aside. As time moves on Cam shows Paige he’s not just the grouch she’s seen him display to her but a very loving and good father to his children. Cam even though he doesn’t want to be... (snicker) he can’t deny that he finds Paige very interesting, attractive. He sees how his kids react to her and her to and with them he’s even more intrigued and a little annoyed. Because it’s pretty clear he does not want to get entangled with Paoge and as he says "crapping where he lives or works".Long story short they eventually stop fighting the attraction and start to give into it....His ex creates trouble and as he and Paige move along..... he soon learns Paige has zero sexual experience.. yep she is a 26 yr old VirginFast forward....Cam pulls his head out of his &^% ...the kids are thriving and falling more in love with Paige every day. He takes her to meet his family in Texas. Everything’s mashed potatoes and gravy until Cam makes a comment while taking care of his sisters new baby.... he says he’s glad he’ll never have to do the baby stuff ever again.BAM.... we just hit a brick wall. Paige is 26. Comes from a huge family. Of course she wants children. She’s so incredible with his kids how could he not think she wouldn’t want her own someday? This turns into a deal breaker. Even tho he broke her heart...He doesn’t leave her alone .....he looks for her. Gets her family all stirred up when she wanted a private moment to grieve her loss. And when he finally gets everyone all in her business and locates her... He says "I never should have perused you. I was selfish. I should have left you a lone to find a nice guy to give you everything you want and need"She loved him. She had hope. She wanted it to work no matter how slim the odds. but it seems it was not meant to be ....so with her family get her back on track and she is breathing again ...the tip of the iceberg is There’s a creepy stalker, an ex wife from hell and more family drama. Read this one. You won’t be sorry. 😊

One of the best romances I've ever read
I first read this book back when it was still young and I loved it so very much. I instantly became a fan. After rereading it I realized that I don’t just love it I ABSOLUTELY love it. It’s one of the best romances I’ve ever read and will ride the top of my favorites list forever. The dynamics between Cam and Paige is exactly what I look for in every book I pick up. I want the spark that can look like antagonism but that only the reader recognizes as chemistry. I hunger for protectiveness from the hero, throw in a bit of jealousy and I’m a very happy girl. I love heroines who are feisty and independent but not so much they can’t show their vulnerable side and with Paige I also saw all her “sweet” and in the seeing, I fell in love with Cam Montgomery all over again.Athica Lane is written in a style that feels as though your best friend is sharing their story and before you know it, you’re curled up, comfortable and at home with the characters and experiencing all their highs as well as all their heartbreaking lows. The angst, when present made my heart hurt as Cam and Paige struggle individually over the situation they find themselves in relationship wise. But when the resolution arrived, and then another fuller resolution, I found myself shedding happy tears for this couple. They are absolutely perfect together. While this is a longer book than most romances that make the rounds these days, it never drags or becomes repetitive and I never, ever wanted to miss a word so skimming wasn’t a thought in my head. There is drama outside the relationship that keeps not only the characters but the readers on their toes and I loved how this author gave closure to it in the end. We have secondary characters from the previous book as well as new characters I know we’ll see in the future and some I hope to see. They are never used as filler but they are constantly supporting the main characters as well as helping to move the story along even as they often add humor, in addition to that which is found between Paige and Cam.All of that to say, this my friends, is what romance is all about. It’s the beginning, the middle and the happy ever after with an epilogue that leaves you with a smile and the surety that this couple are going to be alright…forever.

my favorite of this series!
This book evoked so many emotions for me! I absolutely loved it, even though I kind of hated Cam lol. Paige was awesome!! She was beautiful and funny and witty. She could totally handle Cam and I loved the way she didn’t take any of his cr@p. Cam was such a jerk when they met and she handled him with such wit and charm. It was hilarious because he never knew what him. She was also amazing with his kids. Her interactions with them are some of my favorite parts of this book. As much of an a$$ as Cam was, Paige balanced him out in a way. They also had insane chemistry and I ended up loving them together. But of course Cam ruins it and I wanted to punch him in the face. I was so happy that Paige stood by what she wanted. I wanted Cam to suffer and I guess he did, but not enough in my opinion. The ending was awesome though, and everything I wanted for these two and Cam’s two kid’s. And I will say that Cam did redeem himself and became worthy of her.☺️

shower in the morning and look amazing simply by fluffing her hair and applying lip-gloss
Another gorgeous offering, with an endearing dad/sexy man, a strong determined woman, who doesn't gush, doesn't wear Louboutin shoes, shower in the morning and look amazing simply by fluffing her hair and applying lip-gloss. I want to feel like I at least have some hope of being like these ladies in these books and not being depressed because theyr'e so perfect. So lovely, fantastic, when I find a yes, sexy hot woman, who has to work at it, and being nice. Cause putting it all together is hard work. Then you add to that a frazzled single dad, who's busy keeping commitments juggled and putting everyone before himself...including a private life. I love these stories because I don't need to see kidnappings, or accidents happening for the couple to realise they belong together - their own couply dramas are enough in books of this kind especially when you toss in a brat of an ex wife and a determined mother and the woman you eventually will love but right at the beginning irritates you, is the woman babysitting your kids. Give me a good romance, and Im all over it.. kids and all because it's fun...and fun's always good.On the business side of things, I think I've read all Ms' Ashers books to date, and while her writing for the most part in her first book was pretty good, right now excels. The steady improvement is noticeable instantly, from diction, spelling, punctuation and structure. Her books are to me, as professionally put together as any I've read. This is an easy 5 stars and a highly recommended read.

New favourite single dad romance
From beginning to end, I loved Athica Lane so much. I felt so immersed in Cam and Paige’s story, and I just could not put the book down. This book is a perfect single dad romance story; I feel like all other books in this trope won’t live up to it.I've not read any of the previous books in the series, but now that this one has cemented itself as one of my favourite reads, I’m looking forward to diving into more books from Brynne Asher.

A sweet addition to the series
I love a hot, growly alpha male and a spunky heroine that doesn't take his crap. And it got this with Paige and Cam. Throw in a nosey family and friends and a catch up with previous characters and I'm a happy girl. When Paige and Cam met it was fireworks from minute one when she ends up wearing his drink and was un-hap-pee about that and makes it known. And of course hot, growly, grumpy Cam is so unapologetic! Yep, fireworks from the start.Paige is a total sweetheart, without losing her independence. She was fabulous with Cam's kids, I love how she encouraged and supported them (something their mother didn't do). She helps out with childcare for a week and this is the start of their relationship.Cam is an amazing father, despite multi-tasking with his job and his business - his kids never lacked for his care and attention. I just wish he had gotten his head out of his backside sooner than he did. He really hurt Paige. Which leads me to being a tad bit disappointed in her. He did something that destroyed her and should have bloody WORKED for forgiveness. I get why she rolled over after her talk with Rose, but for me that was the easy way out. There's nothing better than a damn good grovel when the hero has been a tool. There is also a bit of suspense running through the story with Paige having a nut-job stalker. This is where Cam steps up to the plate for her.I spotted a fair few editing issues in my ARC, hopefully this will be cleaned up prior to release.3.75 stars for a sweet addition to a series that is strong on family ties. Although this will hold up as a standalone, I enjoyed the previous two books and feel they add to this story.ARC provided by author for honest review

Grab your E-Reader ladies we are off to Athica Lane!
I stumbled upon Brynne Asher while I was searching for book while suffering from a horrific book hangover! Which let me tell you is a bad time usually to try out a new author but let me tell you this, I was amazed from page one when I started Overflow then I read the second novel in the series which is Beautiful Life which I LOVE!!! So then I had to wait for the next instalment, which brings us to Athica Lane The latest release in the Carpino Series!Athica Lane is the story of sweet but sassy Paige Carpino and steaming hot single dad Cam Montgomery! How sometimes Dr Pepper can be the start of something beautiful but also incredibly complicated. Cam is a man that suffered a blow with his ex wife, he doesn't trust easily and with two kids to care for he doesn't do things without caution!I loved this book, it was hot, it had great characters and I seriously enjoyed the way Asher brings in sensitive subjects which tend to not be in romance books. The twist involving mental health really was fantastic reading. The book is hot, its steamy, its heartfelt and it rocked my world! I know I will have every Brynne Asher book on pre-order from now on!If your a fan of Kristen Ashley you will go nuts for Brynne Asher, believe me!Grab your E-Reader ladies we are off to Athica Lane! ★Review★Ah, I loved this book. And again, as I said with book 1 and 2, the characters in this book, were not just a carbon copy of the hero and heroine from the previous books in the series.I loved Paige and Cam and loved their relationship. You were right along with them as they met, felt the attraction and fell in love.Yes, they had some obstacles to overcome, and yet even the drama did not feel overdone at all. It added to the story as opposed to taking away or overpowering the emotional aspect. It was an emotional engaging read that I loved.I can even overlook the oft used (and very much disliked by me) use of the evil ex wife.Cam was a great hero, and brilliant Dad, and hard working, who despite himself fell for Paige. But he had his own vulnerabilities and past to overcome. And Paige, she knew what she wanted and needed, and would not compromise on that. This author is quickly becoming an auto buy for me.★Book Basics★Genre : - Contemporary RomanceSeries : - 3rd in the seriesLove triangle? - NoCheating? - NoHEA? - YesWould I read more by this author/or in this series? - YesRating - 5 stars
