Sthus bring loaded chain tensioner
Works great I use them on my gas bike motors on every build these things connect to the engine and keep the slack on the chain tight self-adjusting spring loaded I love it

Best bet for chain issues
Excellent quality and fit, has kept my chain on for many miles. Only issue is bolt and nut that hold arm on loosens up. Needs a longer bolt so a lock washer can be installed. Do not overtighten the chain guide, it will not move and will cause issues with the bearings. Definitely worth the buy and far better quality than the closet door looking hardware that comes standard with the bike engines

Chain tensioner for motorized bicycle.
This is a great tensioner. I would have liked instructions with the unit but the advertisement shows pictures of proper installation. I recommend to add lock nuts and luberican to the tensioner wheel to keep it able to move freely and also on the pivot bolt and nut with washer and lock washer to give it ability to move as needed.

Cheap blots snap easy lose controller arm screw to long for pedal engine.
The screw of the wheel that guides the chain is too long for a pedal 2 stroke engine it sticks out so far you can't even pedal with it installed would work if you had a pull start motor but not a pedal start motor unless you have a grinder to tapper the extra screw that stops the pedal from moving forward filling it down I did that and the bolt that connects the arm to the mount is super lose even with the spring installed on the highest one it still drops and creats slack enough to throw the chain completely off the guide your better off with the old school chain pully that connects on bottom of the frame.

The best!
I struggled with many chain tensioners thinking ok i got it this time...? Dont kid yourself.. spring-loaded tensioners are the best solution for sure! The one thing I needed to do.. I grinded the bolt heads down about half.. so crank peddle can pass freely.. Use double nuts on the bolt harnessing flex part, to lock tight but still loose enough for tensioner to flex.. Thats it.. Works great!

cheap hardware
everything fits good. my only problem is the cheap hardware. 1 bolt the threads all stripped off, and also the heads catch on my pedals. so i have to go to the hardware store and look for a couple better bolts. not a big issue. also the plastic roller wheel seems rather cheap, not sure how long its gonna hold up. for the price i guess it was worth it.

Adjustable chain tensioner
The bolts in the pictures are not the ones provided for mounting to the engine. They didnโt fit the mounting holes of the bracket so I had to drill them out to fit. I need to shorten my chain but it works a lot better than the one from the kit. Used on a pacific coast chopper/schwinn stingray
