Great color and my hair is getting healthier
My hair is over 95% hard to color gray. The recommended 25-30 minutes has never been enough; I need 45 minutes, even when having it colored by a hairdresser. This is the second Garnier hair color product Iโve tried since starting to do it on my own to save money and hopefully get my hair in better condition, about 5 months ago. Both products gave me a rich looking color and did a good job on the grays and my hair feels a lot better than when I had it done by my hairdresser. The first one I tried was Garnier Olia Oilโmy hair was pretty dried out and more oil sounded good. It did a good job with the color, but the bulb-shaped applicator was too large for my hand making application both awkward and messy. It also required a great deal more product on the hardest to color areas around the temples. My hair was definitely getting healthier using this versus having it done at a salon. This Nutrisse version uses a regular bottle-shape for an applicator and comes with the developer already in the bottle. Squeeze out the color crรจme from a tube and fruit oil from a small plastic pack. The bottle opening is not as large as the one on the Olia, so you have to be more precise when adding in the other ingredients, but this bottle is great deal more narrow and easy to grip for both shaking and application. It truly is a non-drip formula and I didnโt have to put nearly as much product on the temple area to get the color to stick. My hair feels better each time I color; approximately every 3-1/2 weeks if I donโt want to look like a skunk. Okay there is one area that Iโd like to see an improvement on and itโs the size of the gloves. My hands are on the short side of medium and the gloveโs fingers are almost ยฝโ too short for me. This makes it uncomfortable when first starting out. Not sure if the gloves stretch out or you just forget about it and donโt notice it any longer when concentrating on the applying the color. Of the two Garnier products I have to say I like this one better. And the savings for doing it myself when factoring in the tip is roughly $750.

I Really Like This!
I really like this hair color. It doesn't dry out my hair--it stays soft and shiny for weeks after coloring. The only down side is that it doesn't cover the gray as well as salon color. But the difference in price and the better condition of my hair are a great trade-off.

Covers the gray
I have used this color many years without any issues. It holds up the 5 to 6 weeks between colors. Like any color, I get a little fading toward the end of that cycle. I know professionals seem to frown on box colors, but this seems as good to me as what my stylist has used. It certainly is much cheaper to do it myself. It's easy to mix and if your confident can do your roots yourself, then this is a good brand to try initially.

Great Product
After watching my stylist color my hair (and charge me $200) every month for 10 years, I decided that it was something I could probably do on my own. So, I tried Nutrisse because it was the least offensive smelling one that was the closest to my hair color and I've been doing it myself since 2008. I found that Nutrisse does a better job at coloring my grey than even the $200 dye job my stylist used to give me! I just do what he did and color the roots using a paint brush then follow the directions on the box from there. The combination of just doing the roots and the way the color reacts to my environment creates a very natural looking color, allowing my natural highlights to come through; I always get a lot of compliments and requests for my stylists number!

โIt did the job, but it gave my hair a red tone.โ

Love the color - didn't cover grays
I recently got 3 strands of gray so I went to dye my hair. I love this color, and my hair felt absolutely soft afterwards, but those 3 gray hairs were still gray and they were the first things covered when I applied the dye, so I won't be using this product again.

Great product! Good gray coverage
I started using this product during this stay-at-home order. Hair salons have reopened in my state but I will continue to use this product. it was easy to match my color by going to the website and answering a few questions. I am happy with the gray coverage. It lasts just as long as my salon hair color for a fraction of the cost. Hair is shiny and healthy looking. Great product.
