Compared to petal dust in powder form , little round jars, does the pressed form work as well, or does it require more repetitive brushing to apply?

a few of the colors apply like the dust in a jar. Most are very firm and difficult to get on the brush. In general I would not reccomend the pressed pallate

It is not food colors. It is for dusting gumpaste after it dries...like after you have formed it into a flower or whatnot.

Is the case a cardboard box with plastic trays, or is it acrlic see thru case with plastic trays?

Are these intended to be used dry or with liquid?

You can use them both dry and with liquid such as edible alcohol. When you use them dry, it gives a subtle shade and when you use it wet, the colors are more intense and you may paint details on your project.

Items were packaged ok but stuck inside an envelope and one palette came with one color busted up and all over the other colors. I could see the color dust as soon as I started to open so I don’t believe this was anything I caused. Not sure if I can get it off of the other colors or not. It’s a lot of money to spend if one can’t be used.

Product is good maybe samples of finished product and directions

love the product. They said in the product line to be careful when opening as it was fragile and may crack in shipping. It was wrapped well and everything was perfect. The only thing I might suggest is to add simple directions of use for newbies and a few sample images for references.

Not what you think you are ordering

These are total junk. They are so hard that you can't get any dust on your brush and are just placed in the little tray so they can slide around and fall out with minimal effort.
