I bought this product together with a Walker resonator. My old front pipe had a leak on the flexible part, and it gave a check engine code P0421. I thought the catalytic converter was the problem but there were some smokes coming out of the front pipe. So I decided to change it first. If the code still there then maybe either the catalytic converter or oxygen sensor was the problem, or both. Upon installation, the code was gone up to this date.The product is made of very thick cast iron and I am hoping it will last for more than 2 years. I read a review that this pipe last just 18 months, so hopefully it will perform more than that.The installation was easier if i bought all the exhaust system (front pipe + catalytic + resonator + muffler). But I just bought the front pipe and resonator, so I have to separate them piece by piece.I am giving it a 5 star since its functioning well at the moment. 5 star for Amazon for cheap price of $58.47, very fast and free shipping. No tax too.Hopefully, Walker will give a $50 mail-in rebate promo for the muffler and catalytic converter soon because I am planning to replace them on Spring 2014.100% I recommend it.

The exhaust pipe shipped fast, received ahead of delivery date. The pipe fit perfect, sounds good. My only suggestion would be to include gaskets, but other then that, great price perfect fit. Would definitely order again.

I bought it for a replacement because I broke the bung out of the old one. It has no downstream bung. Very dissatisfied!

I ordered this to fix a leaky front pipe on an '03 Mitsubishi Lancer. The pipe arrived in damaged packaging - just a cardboard box without any padding or anything else. When I took the pipe to my mechanic, he pointed out that the pipe was dented bad enough that it'll be too restrictive (photo attached). I arranged a return with Amazon. After shipping the damaged pipe back, I purchased another one. This one arrived in even equally bad packaging with the cardboard box literally falling apart upon delivery. The second pipe also was dented, but not as bad. I ended up going with it, and so far it's working okay. Will update in 6 months and 1 year on longevity.Both pipes looked like remanufactured parts and not brand new units. I am okay with that, but the dents affecting functionality are unacceptable. It is slightly cheaper than other stores. If you're not in a hurry, this could be worth it as the quality isn't the best.

Getting old resonator pipe off was tough. Ended up using hacksaw on pipe behind catalytic converter (bolts were frozen). Walker resonator pipe installed very easy but you must buy bolts and gasket separate due to the fact they don't come with the pipe.
