Bought a while back very robust and with a good capacity. Lower chest height for some one 5'7"

There are always times when an indoor clothes airer is going to be needed and, after much searching on Amazon, I decided to buy this product. Delivered in a sturdy cardboard box which gave good protection, this is the stainless steel model with black hanging rails. It was very stiff to open up at first, and to keep it upright the top section has to be fitted onto the opposite rail. At the moment, this is also very stiff but only because the product is new. There is a mass of storage space and plenty of room between the hanging rails so that clothes are not clinging to one another - so making drying faster. I did like the design at the top. It has a number of close hanging rails for smaller items, such as socks perhaps, but could also be used for clothing that needs to be dried flat. This is quite a sizeable item (width-wise), wider than my old one, but it is so lightweight I have hung it on a couple of over-door coat hooks inside a hallway cupboard. Perfect. Out of the way until needed and so light it doesn't put any presser on the door - or the hooks, for that matter. If you are looking for a basic indoor clothes airer, I don't think you need look any further. This is perfect for the purpose. If you do intend placing it outside, I would suggest not using it in breezy/windy conditions else it could easily be blown over. That being said, this is designed for indoor use - or perhaps for use on a balcony. Easy 5 star rating left for this product and I will certainly be recommending it to friends.

Extremely sturdy and very stable compared to other flimsy racks I have bought in the past. However it may prove difficult for those with limited strength in their hands to click the top retaining bar into place as it is very tight fitting. I struggled with it and thought I would return the item but finally decided to keep it in the hope it would become easier when it had been used for a while.

Arrived quickly, feels quite sturdy, easy to use, also looks nice, good size.

Reviewing after 3 years of ownership. I have bought three of these in total and I like their compact size. However, the screws on the sides need tightening frequently and the plastic parts are prone to breaking. I now have just two of them after sacrificing one of them to mend the other two. These have been very useful but if they were sturdier they would be perfect.

I am very impressed with this item. Price-wise excellent value. I wanted an airer where the horizontal drying bars were thicker than what was usually on offer from other manufacturers and this item fits the bill. The dryer is wide but more than manageable from a storage point of view. I would definitely recommend as it does not need to be constructed from various pieces and can be raised easily in one motion and also stored away compactly when required.

Like with other AmazonBasics products, this foldable airer/clothes hanger has met my expectations for good value. The hanger comes folded and easily folds out to clip and stand. While the poles are not metal, for this price, the chrome coating provides a premium look close to this. It is light but once folder, the structure and poles are strong rigid enough to hold wet clothes and towels. Surprisingly, there's not been a situation where the hanger has tipped on its side. The crossed base does a good job to keep the dryer upright. I continue using this in the garden, despite saying it's an 'interior airer' and still the stand has done well in avoiding tipping over and resisting the temperatures. Although, I would not trust exposing this to harsher conditions in which you would not your clothes out drying anyway. In short, this air hanger is reasonably priced and built solidly to stand firm for the simple yet essential need of having a place to dry your clothes.

I had to purchase a new clothes horse after my foster kitten somehow broke my other one. I went for this one. It is sturdy and good quality however I find it to be a bit too small. It would be a good secondary clothes horse if you need extra drying space, but it shouldn't be a main one due to how little space there is.

Estaba harta de los clásicos tendederos de pie con alas. Ocupaban mucho, se salían las barras o se rompían las patas (por el peso de toallas mojadas). Éste parece ser más resistente al peso, ya que está dividido en 3 pisos, y apenas ocupa espacio. Además el acabado es bonito y de buena calidad. Respecto a la capacidad de prendas para tender... 3 veces mejor, pues aprovecho todos las barritas y me caben hasta 2 lavadoras.

Poids maximal : Bien qu’il soit stable pour une utilisation classique, il peut être légèrement bancal si on y met trop de linge lourd (comme des draps mouillés). Nos locataires en sont très satisfaits : il est pratique, compact, et suffisamment grand pour répondre à leurs besoins. Un excellent choix pour les propriétaires ou les locataires à la recherche d’un séchoir fonctionnel et esthétique.
