They fit my home bunn coffee maker
These are definitely for restaurant multi burrwer bunn style coffee makers. I purchased this size for my home bun coffee pot because I was getting overflow of coffee grounds and when switching to the metal or plastic filter found thick coffee sludge at the bottom of the pot. This s filter works. They are big, however if you press them in, press the sides to the wall of the plastic filter spout, they do their job. They are very good quality

Great filter! No more grounds in my coffee!
I have a cheap Mr. Coffee 12-cup machine, and every 12-cup filter I've tried has overflowed (either too short, or too thick for the water to filter through fast enough). Even tried a reusable mesh filter, but still occasionally got grounds, and always a bit of "sludge" in the bottom of the pot with that type filter. These Bunn filters put an end to that. They're just slightly oversized for the basket, so they need to be pressed down instead of just dropping in, and they're much taller than other filters. So far, they seem to be a perfect thickness, so water filters through quickly enough that the extra height doesn't seem to be needed, but glad they are taller, just in case. Haven't had a single ground in my coffee since using these. Great price for 1K filters that work, in my opinion.

Truly oversized and extra large paper filters, 1000 pack is a good deal
We were experiencing an overflow issue with our Cuisinart burr grind-and-brew machine. Whether brewing via the reusable gold-tone filter or a standard paper filter, the grinds would travel up and over the edge of the filter while brewing and into the pot. The standard paper and gold filter wall heights are simply too short to handle a full strength brew's worth of grinds.Notably, the dry ground volume of a full strength brew does "fit" in a standard paper filter (when not brewed) however once wet, the coffee grinds not only expand in size but the once dry paper filter will compress and sit "down" into the holder as the water saturates it through capillary action. These BUNN filters solved the short-filter issue completely. They are large enough and more importantly, deep/tall enough to ensure that grinds no longer overflow into the pot. When unpacking these filters they admittedly seemed too large and we were doubtful that they would fit our machine, however upon use we found that they functioned perfectly. The extra material and height of the filter walls proved to be useful as the grind expansion and capillary action pulls the filter walls down into the basket. If you have had similar overflow issues with your machine whether Cuisinart, Bunn, or whatnot - I recommend you try these filters. The 1000 pack seems extreme but the per unit cost is excellent and if you use your machine regularly then it is a great value.

Works for the OXO 12 cup coffee maker
The OXO 12 cup maker needs this kind of flat filter. The OXO brand coffee filters are ridiculously expensive.I bought these because they appear to be similar in design and dimensions. They do the job. The only issues it that they are a little less deep, (the side walls are not as long), and when making 12 cups of coffee, the filter is relatively filled with grounds after the brew. Taking the filter out has to be done carefully to not spill the used grounds. This filter also seems to be a little less robust than the OXO filter. However, it does work and with some caution, there are not problems. So, a good substitute and pricewise a great bargain.
