Super sized pot
I ordered the 40 quart version. The price was right compared to my local restaurant supply store and arrived in perfect shape. The pot is thick walled, handles look to be solid, and the pot built up a nice oxide layer after an initial test boil. So far, it has worked for home brewing, making scrapple, and brining turkeys. It also makes a good food grade bucket while doing butcher work. Let the buyer be warned, any pot over 12 quarts is going to be the largest item in the average home kitchen and the 20-40 quart models are comically large. The 40 quart will boil a full 9-10 gallons of water on a generic oven stove-top, if given a tight fitting lid and a few hours time. It will also take up two burners, over half the top surface, and be hazardous to move while hot. The pot does its job well, just know what you are getting into. I ordered the 40 because I wanted to never need a larger pot again. As for a lid, ordered one of these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003HEUYFW/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00

Good sturdy stock pot, good for brewing
I bought this pot for home brewing, and it works great. I used the 24-quart model and it was plenty large enough to control boil over. It is thick aluminum, so it feels solid, and the handles are sturdy as well. I oxidized it with 5 gallons of water, and my electric range could get it boiling, so disregard some of the reviewers who said they couldn't boil. Conducts the heat really well, I didn't have to worry about the pot burning anything, as sometimes a stainless steel one would. Definitely get the lid if you are going to be boiling that much water, as it'll speed things up. I was definitely impressed with the rugged construction for the price.

PASTA AND RIBS AND ALL THAT OTHER S***
This is for LARGE BATCH ITEMS. I purchased as a spaghetti dinner pot ( I paid under $25.00) It's great for Holidays, BBQs, and many are using it as a HOME Brew POT. Or a monster size OF CHILLI. It's not pretty, and will discolor, unless you clean after every use with bar keepers friend, which I STRONGLY suggest. It's not pretty, but it's highly functional. I guess like a not- so- hot wife or husband ( hahaha, my sexist joke). But overall, at this price point, a home chef, will be pleased, and satisfied with the performance. I don't think it's heavy enough for a FULLY commercial kitchen. It is heavy and works well on a gas burner indoors. If you need a troth of sauce, or wanna really par-boil your ribs, this is perfect ( recipe at the end). take 8-10 pounds of PORK RIBS, score with a knife the underside 5 granny smith applies sliced 2 whole lemons cut in eighths 2 limes cut in eighths 3 cups of apple cider 1 cup of orange juice 1/2 cup of Corn Oil 1/4 cup each of the following: vinegar ( white) salt pepper dark brown sugar NOW ADD SPICES: Tablespoon of the following tyme,Allspice, lemon zest, cayenne pepper combine and then add 10 cups of water Let the ribs SIMMER IN THE MIXTURE FOR 75 MINUTES, on Medium Heat Then let stand in Mixture for 2 HOURS. Then place on greased grill, outside for 15 minutes each side, cover in your favorite BBQ sauce, or Serve sauce on the side. this are ribs, I have won money for, and people pay me to make every year. ENJOY!

Great product, after you get the sticker off…
A great product for its intended use, this is our second one. However, the sticker is a ROYAL PAIN to remove. If you choose to put that big of a sticker on a product that already comes in a labeled box, give your customers a little love and don’t make them pick it all off with fingernails and goo gone. Not the initial happy customer vibe I think you are going for!

Perfect For Brewing 5 Gallon Batches Of Beer
No regrets with this 24 quart stockpot! Pros: -Easy to use -Light weight (in comparison to other pots) -Aluminum allows heat to transfer faster (what does this mean? when chilling your wort in an ice bath it will cool down quicker due to it being made to aluminum versus stainless steel) this is very convenient if you want to put off buying a wort chiller or just don't want to get one. -Strong rivets for the handles -Easy to clean so far -Very thick aluminum, so it will you a good long while Cons: -Pot came with a thick metallic powder that took me a good half hour to clean off the whole pot -Since it is made of aluminum it can be easy to chip inside it while using your basting spoon and mixing the wort (nothing crazy or worth taking a star off since it's something that can happen with all aluminum pots, and can be all together avoided if you aren't rough with it while mixing the wort). All in all, awesome product, and well worth the money I spent for it. When I had this in my ice bath it cooled my wort from about 230*F down to 80-85*F in about 15 mins, which isn't bad. If you have any questions about my review or the product just comment on here and I'll do my best to help you out! Happy brewing.

Sturdy
Pan was made of a decent quality , was thicker then expected. A lid with it would be a bonus.

What you see is what you get
its heavy duty, thick walled and exactly as described. for the price you cant beat this stock pot. i am using it as a vacuum pressure chamber for degassing of resins and such, far from soups and stocks lol, but the thick gauge wall is perfect for that. cant ask for more for the price, thanks. edit: i measured the thickness with a caliper and it was 3.8mm at the rim and slightly thinner below. still thick gauge but not the indicated 4-4.75mm in the specifications.

Good Quality
I was worried about the quality of the pot as there is an aluminum pot on the market the is just very thin aluminum and is very easy too burn a hole in. This pot that I purchased is excellent.
