So I have two kids who love their Powerwheels cars. I have 4 of them (2 second hand ones) and the batteries were old and didn't hold a charge. Problem is those Fisher Price batteries are around $80each!! This is the solution:... I bought these batteries (which have a higher Ah rating so they hold a longer charge) to put into the cars. So far they've been working out great!. Here are some details: 1: They won't fit perfectly into the cars battery holder, I just place them in best I can. 2: There are proprietary connections in the cars that need to be cut off. Use a pair of wire strippers to cut the wire harness off the car, strip the ends of the wire and crimp on a normal F2 wire connector, now it will fit the battery. 3: Finally, you'll need a new battery charger since the proprietary one the car came with will no longer work. I had a car battery charger laying around that I use, its here on Amazon called "Schumacher SC-1200A-CA". Use this charger (set to AGM and 3A charge rate) and your batter will be charged within 2hours. The charger shows you the percentage of charge the battery has left and stops when done. Perfect combination if you have a bunch of Powerwheels needing batteries!!!

I tested the batteries, and one of them exploded. I couldn't use it. I simply cannot understand how a brand-new product could explode during its very first use.

These were a perfect fit and replacement for an MX500. The process is pretty straight forward, but you will need to solder the connections to the terminals and then cover with a waterproof membrane. I used hot glue and covered the soldered joint and the wire splice connector. Works like a charm. Like a brand new bike!! No telling how long they will last, but the arrived quick and fit right in. Great price. Great fit. No complaints.

What we liked about the batteries is that they arrived in a timely matter and they arrived undamaged. They worked great at 1st but after a week of being installed they were not taking a charge any longer. I did submit for an exchange and they got back to me within 24hrs. Now my son and I are just waiting on the new ones to arrive.

So, I ended up getting these because I saw many videos of people purchasing them considering their longevity and fast charging. I would like to say that is all true. I’m giving it 5 starts because it’s all a perfect fit, loved the packaging, very well protected, I noticed they tried placing the thicker cardboards on every edge of each battery within the box and that was what sold it for me from returning them if anything. I was worried because they are shipped but they are packaged well. They charge fast and work great.
