Goplus 1.6HP Well Water Pump Home Garden Irrigation Booster Jet Pump 1000GPH, 1200W (Black)

We needed a low flow pump that would boost our well pressure to water our large yard (over an half acre). I am able to run 4 hoses at one time with this pump and Rain Bird brass deluxe impact sprinklers. The two work very well together cutting my watering time in half. I am quite pleased to have finally found a solution for my watering problem.

Like others said, you need a lot of Teflon tape. I'm using it to boost water pressure for irrigation purposes. I'm using a short 3/4" dia. 5 foot inlet hose to connect to my outdoor hydrant. I only gave it 4 stars because it took a lot of Teflon tape to stifle the leaks where your 1 inch pipe threads into the pump housing.

I used this pump that was brand new out of the undamaged box for the first time as a lawn sprinkler pump for one tripod impact sprinkler. It worked well for 40 minutes then stopped. The lift from the river to the sprinkler was 6' and water was clean with a screened foot valve. 100' heavy duty 12 gauge extension cord on a 20 amp dedicated circuit. The pump was very hot and shut off on over temp. After it cooled off, I started up again. The 6' cord that connectes to the pump motor looks like 16 gauge and way too small. My other 1hp lawn sprinkler pump from Utilitech has run great (just not enough psi) and is physically bigger motor and heavier then this 1.6hp pump. Save your time and $ and buy anything better than this pump.

i bought this item and i must say and advise anyone to buy this it is money well spent i bought two and at the moment one does the job of supplying air to 4 ponds 10 feet by 10 Feet plus two aquariums and two brine shrimp containers. money very well spent. to the company the only thing was the plastic divider was broken but i repaired it with some epoxy

I installed this pump for irrigation. It has worked great for my application. The water pressure is excellent and I am very pleased with it
