Round Planter Bowl - The HC Companies Decorative 16-Inch Fiber Clay Pedestal Bowl Flower Pot for Indoor & Outdoor Plants Fireball Red (HRB16000M13)

I purchased this on Amazon warehouse, so I knew it was going to have some slight scratches. I am okay with that, although I should note- it is a side effect of being made of material that will scratch and show residue stains (plant food, mineral deposits, etc...)I bought it to use as a basin for a bamboo fountain with some rocks and aquatic floating plants. (also found on Amazon) Initially, I was disappointed in the finish and the color. The inside is more vibrant than the outside (which is fine as a fountain, but could be disappointing if filled with dirt.) I washed it out and had to use Goo Gone to get annoying sticker residue off (why so many?!) It's not exactly a fiery red so much as a muted, burnt mahaghony. (I took pics during set up for color.) I like that it is durable plastic, and am okay with it looking more or less like it does. It's lightweight yet sturdy. The removable plug came in the bottom and am pleased that it seals tightly for fountain purposes.PROS: affordable, sturdy, lightweight, large but not overwhelming, can be used as a planter or fountain.CONS: 1* off for the muted color and the finish which just isn't as durable as the material itself.

It says fiber clay, whatever that is, and their photo looks a little like pottery, but in my yard both close and far away it is obviously plastic. Shinny cheap plastic.

These bowls came quickly and are great for my patio. They are plastic but from a distance look like clay. The red one came cracked but SuperGlue came to the rescue just fine. The lightweight nature and removable drainage plug make them winners in my book.

This was the right bowl-like pot for my aloe plant - large and wide, but not too deep or too heavy.. Every time my aloe gets re-potted, it sprouts with a lot of new plants so I needed something that was wide enough to support the new growth. It's also a nice-looking pot.

Absolutely nothing like the photo. Shape, color and texture are all completely different and quite unattractive. Certainly does not have the appearance of clay.

The media could not be loaded.  The bowl is a little smaller than expected but it has a very nice dark red clay-like finish both inside and out. Excellent to use as a little fountain. Also it is very light weight and has a pre-drilled hole if you want to use it as a planter.

This vase is short and squat not tall as pictured and looks plastic

I loved the look and it fit perfectly in my existing pot holder. Looks very expensive but very good on the budget.
