I must have a newer version....
I was reluctant to purchase this cover for my new XP4400 based on the reviews here and looked around for a better option. I did not find another cover made specifically for this model so I rolled the dice and bought this cover. I was very surprised when I opened the box and pulled the cover out. The material is not as thin as other reviews lead me to believe. It's a thick tyvek type material. It is not as thick and durable as say a gas grill cover and I doubt the tyvek cover would hold up long to the sun and elements but for indoor (garage) storage it's ideal. The fit is perfect with the roller kit/handles. The cover fits perfectly over the generator with handles attached and covers wheels. It's a perfect fit... not too lose but definitely not too tight. If you're looking for an outdoor cover I'd suggest going to your local big box hardware store and look for a generic grill cover. P.S I was going to take a pic but my cover fits exactly like the cover on the default pic here.

Cover fit my XP4400E perfectly!
No quite sure with the other reviews that I have seen on this cover, but this fit my generator PERFECTLY. It is not tight at all, and conforms to the shape without problems. Perhaps earlier batches were defective? I just want to calm peoples worries about it being so tight it rips!One thing to note, the cover is made from a felt-like material that isn't canvas like. Perfect for storing your generator in a shed or garage. Not sufficient for outdoor storage where the elements would be in contact with it. Would have preferred it to be a tad more resilient, but for the price I can't complain! It will function as I need it.Lastly, one side is printed "Duromax" and the other side says "Durostar". Not sure if anyone cares, but just a little more info.

well-made, good fit, but could use a cord.
It is good, but I needed to buy another because the first was taken by the wind. I'll be adding a cord/leash to the second so it stays put.
