Great product

This genuine Honda touch-up paint matched the Borrego Beige Metallic color perfectly. It worked well for fixing small scratches and paint chips. The paint blends nicely with the original color and the brush makes it easy to apply on small spots. Good product if you want to keep your car looking clean without doing a full repaint. It arrived quickly and was packaged well.

So I got this for my 18 Civic which is painted White Orchid Pearl. As some reviewers say, it is in fact a bit whiter than the factory paint. Upon researching, I found out that the White Orchid Pearl is TRICOAT. Meaning there is the base paint, midcoat, and then the clear coat. Whereas the rest of the colors is just base paint and clearcoat (I could be wrong, fact check me). So if you want a better color match I would search for an alternative paint kit that offers the base paint and the mid coat. I haven't tried doing that yet so I couldnt tell you how that could work out. HOWEVER, that being said if you just want to repair really tiny paint chips, the color isnt too far off. It wouldnt be that noticeable unless you point it out imo. Just my 2 cents.

Worked fantastically I had hood chips from interstate driving I took my time but it looks great . Paint color is White chips showed up black now they are gone .

The white pearl touch up paint doesn’t match, not even close. I’d give it zero stars. See photos below with photos of door tag showing color code and actual area that was touched up. Don’t waste your time with the white diamond pearl. Out $22 bucks.

I was hopeful this genuine Honda touch-up paint would be a good match for my 2016 Honda CR-V in White Diamond Pearl, but unfortunately, I was disappointed with the color match. The paint has a “white-out” appearance and does not blend as seamlessly as I had hoped. From a distance, I think it looks better than leaving a visible chip or rust spot, but up close, the touch-up is still very noticeable. The pen required many clicks to get the paint flowing, and when it finally started, the paint came out fairly thin. It didn’t like dispensing on an angle. I was hoping it would provide enough coverage to fill in some deeper chips and small craters, but it did not completely do that. I also used the included scuff pen first, as directed, but it actually made one area look worse and way more noticeable. In hindsight, I wish I had skipped that step. I’ll continue to see how well the paint holds up over time with regular driving and weather exposure. I think it works as a temporary improvement, but I would not expect a professional-looking, seamless repair.

I got the Modern Steel Metallic color, and it was a perfect match for my 2018 Acura TLX A-spec stock wheels (see photo). Nice little, all-in-one package that includes: abrasive tip for surface prep, pen-type applicator for tiny jobs, brush for larger jobs, and separate clear-coat applicator. I simply cleaned the scrapes on my rims with rubbing alcohol as instructed, applied the paint with the brush tip, waited 30 minutes, then applied the clear-coat. The color matches very well. You don't notice the painted areas unless you get very close and look for it. When the car is parked, you can walk past it in bright sunlight, and not notice the painted areas. My only complaint is that the clear-coat applicator is a sponge tip, instead of a brush. It worked fine for now, but it seems like it probably won't last as long as a brush tip if I need to use the remaining contents again in the future.

I've used this product once before on another Acura vehicle I own and was thrilled with the results I got, so I ordered another one for my other Acura. I got great color match results. It matched perfectly as expected. I like the fact that there is a two step process with this product. Add the base coat first and then add the clear coat. The clear coat application makes a huge difference with the final result. I'm still trying to perfect painting over the chips and scratches on my cars. The paint ends up looking great, but the smoothness is still a challenge.
