XOLORspace 46421S 4X2 HDMI True Matrix switcher 4K 60HZ HDR HDCP 2.2 w/EDID settings, audio extractor, ARC, downscaler output to 4K 60HZ HDR and 1080P 60HZ

Have it hooked up to an LG UHD TV that supports everything and an old but trusty HD131X 1080P Optima projector. Connected Sky and Xbox One S to it and it does indeed down scale the B Port to 1080P. To get it to work properly, so the Xbox would acknowledge the TV properly, set the dip switches to "Copy HDMI Out A". Have not tried the Audio Optical output yet but I am about to hook up an Apple TV 4K which no longer has an Optical output. Thanks AppleOne point I would make there is no HDR to SDR conversion, nor did I expect it, so films in 4K HDR can look a bit washed out on the old 1080 P projector. However if you use a decent player that does it in software then the problem is solved. On the Xbox One I tested Plex, Kodi and Microsoft media player which you have to download by the way. Kodi probably gave the best colour mapping but Microsoft Media player was not to bad either Plex a bit iffy. Using the plex server at the backend with UPNP enabled. No transcoding required. With the Apple TV I will probably use Infuse but yet to test.Hope this is helpful to others.

Like: 4K Picture support via HDCP2.2Dislike: No Dolby Digital Plus or DTS through optical audio out. Unless source is forced into Dolby Digital out (rather than content decide), the unit only plays digital stereo. Tested with Apple TV, Amazon Fire Stick 4K and SkyQ Mini box.

This is main difference over the 43421 model which can output both outputs at 4k or both outputs at 1080 but not 1 at each resolution.I achieved this as follows.- All inputs connected to switch- Switch output A to TV HDMI 3 (ARC support)- Switch output B to Projector- Audio Optical from switch to surround sound- HDMI from TV HDMI 2 (not ARC) to surround sound (this is only to allow the Bravia sync feature so the surround sound volume can be controlled with the TV remote).This setup allows me to use the switch to choose audio from output A or B to go directly to the surround sound or I can activate ARC to take the audio from the TV (built in YouTube / Netflix with dedicated remote control button) out to the surround sound.All of the devices work at their full resolution including the 4k HDR blueray player and the Fire TV.I did have a problem with my fire TV automatically outputing Dolby Digital Plus audio which my surround sound wont support but as soon as I changed it to Dolby Digital only it worked perfectly and is nothing to do with the switch.I really like that I don't have to swap and change cables around to choose now to choose what to watch and what to watch it on so now have the perfect setup.The remote control is basic but has everything you need with the ability to switch both outputs to the source of your choice and you can choose which audio source including ARC you want.I'm very happy with my setup now thanks to this switch which is well worth the money.

Fonctionne parfaitement sur une télé Full HD, j'ai 2 sources pour l'instant de branché (décodeur + console Switch). La détection automatique de la source fonctionne bien. Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas le CEC mais c'était indiqué dans le description.Pas encore testé la sortie audio optique et la sortie vers une télé ou un vidéoprojecteur 4K, ça se fera plus tard.A suivre.EDIT 24-09-2021 : la télécommande ne marche déjà plus. Arrivato senza ritardi.Perfetto per ciò che mio serviva.Mi splitta l'audio digitale dall'uscita hdmi, e biosfera il segnale video. Con il collegamento diretto tra sky q e video proiettore (cavo hdmi da 7mt) non arrivava il segnale a 10 bit, e non andava l'HDR10 e l'HLG. Collegando il device tra il decoder ed il videoproiettore, ed utilizzando lo stesso cavo HDMI da 7mt, passano i 10 bit ed arriva il segnale HDR10 ed HLG.Consigliato

接続元筐体はニンテンドースイッチ、XBOXONEX、XBOX360、WiiUで何れも1080p/60fps。接続先はキャプチャーユニットGV-USB3HD/EとFHDのBenQ製モニターでの接続を確認。複数の映像ソースを接続しつつ遅延周りというか独立したモニターに出力しつつゲームのプレイ動画や静止画をキャプチャしたいという目的のために導入。4Kモニター導入も考えてるしまず注意点としては機材によって相性問題がある事だ。当初はドリキャプのDC-HC4FSPECに接続してみたのだがこちらでは音声が出ないというトラブルが発生。その後思い切って最初に述べたI・ODATA製のキャプチャユニットも追加で導入して接続し直して無事に運用することが出来た。現在は音声映像ともに問題なし。コンソール上のソフトはどれもひととおり出力することが出来た。自環境ではまだ4Kモニターを導入していないのでダウンコンバート周りの性能については未検証。だがFHDでの出力は問題なく機能しているので個人的には現状でもかなり満足である。本マトリックススイッチの筐体デザインは薄型PS2を髣髴とさせるコンパクトさだが外装が金属で構成されておりひんやりとした堅牢性も非常に手触りが良くて文字通り好感触。電源端子は差し込んだ後にネジ止めするように端子を回転させて固定させるため抜けにくくなる仕様なのもありがたい。本筐体側の切り替えスイッチはA側とB側それぞれで出力する信号を切り替えることが出来るのだが、切り替えボタンを長押しにすることで自動切換えモードにすることも出来る。同時に手動モードで運用させることもできるので不意に起動した際に勝手に信号が切り替わるといった事態も回避する手段が用意されているのが大変有難い。HDMI切り替え機は基本自動か手動の片方しかないこと多くて割と悩んでいたが本製品を導入したことでまるっと綺麗に解決した。普段の自環境だと筐体に指が届くのでリモコンの仕様は未検証。総合すると本製品は出力筐体と入力機器をひとまとめに接続して管理することの出来る極めて利便性の高い筐体であると感じた。映像切り替えデバイスを検討する際の選択肢の一つとして強くお勧めしたい。
