This is just the job!
Easy to use, despite some adverse reviews, which I chose to ignore because of some very positive answers to the questions raised on Amazon.A really good feature is the long brass screw-on valve connector, which is very easy to grip even for 68 year old fingers. The mains plug connector isn’t tricky so long as you line up the plug carefully before pushing in - worked for me anyway. Charging initially takes a while, but I think one charge will last a long time, and you can always run it off the car 12volt socket.Pressure selection and adjustment is easy, and pumping seems very quick. I checked pressures on our three cars in what seemed like double-quick time. Being “cable-free” is worthwhile. This is a really good replacement for my old Michelin pump, which lasted 10 years. I was wary of the cheaper pumps, and opted for this because of the Ring brand, plus a good review in WhatCar. I think it was a good decision.

Update - Amazon swapped item after issues with first
It's handy due to its portable size, the unit is easy to use and the light is bright. Claims it will pump up to 100 psi is not correct, unless its stated for 13" wheel. My tyre is 20" and it needs to get to 38 psi. It got to 32 psi and stopped inflating i left it running for 10 mins but it would not pass 32 psi. I suppose iys the size of the wheel which overwhelmed the unit, but this was not clear when purchasing that it would not inflate 4x4 tyres, either i missed that part or i have bought another knock off item from amazon which apoear to be more and more lately. Its harder to buy genuine items these daysEdit 04-03-22Stopped working altogether, tried sending back but passed return date, need to send to manufacturer... good concept bad unit...Update 16-04-22After swapping unit ( via email tennis with Ring techinical depart / amazon ) i got a replacement and in all fairness it works well. I was genuinely dubious about using it after first unit did absolutely nothing, this one topped up motorbike tyre in less than 1 minute and cut out as advertised. I am not going to get into an argument over how accurate the tyre reading is, simply because my tyre was low.. this unit pumped it up to a reading if the correct pressure ( as shown on dial ) which is a hell of a better place to be than the tyre was in the first place, if i want to be that anal over ot i will spend over £1000 for a true pressure reader. Yup not going to happen. Its easy to charge with mains adapter supplied, its lightweight and portable. For me its a full tick box, only 4 stars as first was broken and i have concerns over reliability. For now though i cannot go wrong with this product. Get a good one and you'll be happy with it

Love it and excellent aftersales service too!
Have had this for 4 years now and love it. It is so easy and convenient to use. Given it is battery powered there is totally portable and no worries about trailing wires everywhere. Single battery charge will do well over 15 tyres of topping up pressure.Excellent aftersales service too. Unfortunately the inflator gave up a month ago but a few quick emails to the manufacturer and they sent me some spare parts. 30 minutes of disassembly, a bit of soldering and hey presto back good as new. Really can’t fault them.

Quiet and fast.
Quiet and fast. Although it does have usb output far use as a powerbank I just wish it could also act as a boost charger.

Good initially, but short lifespan.
I purchased this product in Nov 2024. Having used it about 4 times throughout last year, I thought this was a great purchase. However, when I tried to use it just after the warranty period expired, it stopped working. In essence there was no air filling at all, even though the battery was full. I tried with car tyres and bicycle tyres, knowing that pressure was very low in both sets of cases. I sent an email to Ring Tech support, who claim it's a faulty nozzle, but this is rubbish as it's only been used a handful of times. Having looked on the internet for troubleshooting, there are issues ranging from motor to diaphragm. Anyway, this is a very cheap product with a life-cycle of no more than 18months, I would say. Really disappointing.

Reliable pump
I have been using this for several months and it works well. One tyre had a slow leak and I used it every day until the tyre was properly fixed. It was extremely useful then. Sometimes the pressure you set is not right and you need to set it to a higher pressure and adjust letting a little air out with a gauge afterwards. Though I suppose it is possible my gauge is wrong.

Good in a pinch but not sure about long term battery life
Bought this to check and top up tyres on caravan where there is no power available. Perfect for that. Have used on car a few times but overall not used very much at all and recently despite charging a few days prior when I came to use it the display only showed one bar. Thought that I might have made a mistake but it has happened again. When it does work it is a really good product which is easy to use. Noise is about same as any other inflator I've had. Easy to fit to tyres and has a push button to let air out. Will definitely top up four tyres no problem and I have inflated one flat tyre with it but that's about all it will do. Good bag and must accessories fit in the device itself. Bag will take the cigarette lighter adapter and the inflator but not the plug adaptor which has led me to forget to take it when we've gone away in the caravan

Great pump, potentially worrying issue with charging socket design.
This pump is quite expensive, but there are a number of things to like and one potentially BIG thing which I am quite worried about. What I like:+ It sounds like it's inflating faster than my previous pump when powered by its own battery. I haven't tried the cigarette lighter because I specifically bought this pump as my cigarette lighter socket is unreliable.+ The LED display is clear, informative and easy to read.+ Setting units of measure and target pressure is straightforward.+ Compared to my Halfords tyre gauge, which I believe to be accurate, the Ring pump is pretty close or measures the same.+ The connector tube from pump to tyre is quite long and reaches the 12 o'clock position on my 19 inch alloys. Previous (non-Ring) pump didn't reach.+ I find it a lot easier to attach to the tyre valve than previous pump - it catches the screw thread almost first time.+ The light is quite bright.+ The battery life seems acceptable, though, to be fair, I am only topping the tyres up, the device is new and I haven't much experience with it yet.The big minus for me, and why I've deducted a star, is the recharging socket. It is completely non-standard (why not use USB-C or a standard barrel connector?) and seems quite fragile. I don't have confidence that it will last that long, despite me being as careful as possible when connecting it. This may be unfair as only time will tell but, judging by youtube reviews I've seen on this pump (only after I bought it, silly me!) I am not the only person who has this concern. It's really nice not messing around with trailing wires and cigarette lighter sockets!

Ring tyre inflator.
Just purchased this tyre inflator and I have to say it is a let down. Few things I dislike about it. The 12v power cord does not come built into the unit and it means it just gets tangled every time you use it. The case doesn’t have any sort of handle on it . I can’t see the 3 pin connector used to charge the pump lasting very long. Would I recommend this pump ?absolutely not.
