RTC6000 Cordless 4-in-1 Tyre Inflator and Pump

I bought this to check and inflate car and motorcycle tyres without the need for wires. It is very well made and feels like a premium product. It is quieter than any other compressor I have used. It is easy to operate and allows you to store 4 or 5 pressures so you don't have to set it each time. I have used it to inflate a totally flat motorcycle tyre and top up 4 other tyres and still showing full battery. Cordless design is a huge advantage, I no longer have to pull up my motorcycle to my car to check pressures or keep moving the cable from door to door in the car. Has an adaptor to run off the cig lighter port in car if battery is flat, so you get the best of both worlds. Very happy with my purchase!

Bought it for quick use for racing go-kart use, only small tyres up to 20 psi. Used it a couple of times at meetings now and seems very good. Have not had to recharge yet, but obviously it’s brand-new so I wouldn’t expect to. Have bought a quick connector so the existing inflation pipe that you screw onto the valve now screws onto a connector which you just Push onto the valve. Works much better for my use as you lose less air putting it on and off. And quicker. The weird thing is it has a clear display window in the pouch which you would only require if you’re using it in the pouch, obviously! But I would be surprised if you were meant to run it in its case given ventilation and air supply as well as heat!However, you can’t Use it without unzipping the case to screw the inflation tube into the top of the unit, unless you just have the Zip halfway round at which point it just opens anyway. Not sure why they have done half a job there. Maybe it is to see the charging condition but not sure I’d want to charge a reasonably large battery with the heat that produces with it all covered up. Maybe I need to read the manual!There is a Velcro flap on the bottom of the pouch to plug it in and recharge it so not sure why they didn’t go the whole way to make it usable in the case. Other than the issues of heat and air supply. But then why put a display window on it? Hopefully it works for a long time and like the fact you can use it on 12 V as well as battery. A little heavy but it works so a small price to pay I feel for a good product. Because I can’t comment on its reliability, I only gave it four ⭐.

When it worked it was great. I bought mine in April 2023 and it worked really well and was easy to use, set the desired pressure, put it on the tyre and it would inflate the tyre then stop at the desired pressure. I bought an extra air hose that had a right angle on it to make it easier to get into my motorcycle air valves. I didn’t use it much/if at all last year as it wasn’t needed but got it out of hibernation just last week and the pump wasn’t working. Anyway I have opened it up to find a thin red wire broken at the bottom of the pump near the impeller, see review images. Not entirely sure where to solder it to so if anyone knows feel free to let me know. Update: A massive shout out to Ring Automotive who went above & beyond with customer service and resolved my issue. Review now updated to 5 star because of this.

So then, mine is now 18months old. Forget warranties, the consumer rights act of 2015 is your true friend. It worked well. Kept it in the van for emergencies but never needed it really. I'd occasionally put 4 or 5 psi in a tyre. I have mousses in my motorbike so don't need it for that. Then my car got a slow puncture. I used it twice and it was spot on. Not if it's kept in the vehicle if it's cold though. Wouldn't even turn on. I took it in the house to warm up. The battery stayed full which was good. I then inflated the tyre by about 10psi. Then at the weekend I attempted to go round and top up all 4 tyres but the unit wouldn't turn on. I thought maybe it was flat. Put it on charge and after 30mins it came to life and said it was full. That's when the problem started. And quite a serious problem too. It started smoking and my lounge was filling with the acrid smell of burning. I saw it, picked it up, got the keys and unlocked the back door and took it out to the garden. Thankfully I checked on it as I was leaving for Marseilles at 0300 the next morning and this was around 2100hrs. A very lucky escape. It's now in a watering can of water in the garden and I'll have to deal with it when I get home.

It's handy due to its portable size, the unit is easy to use and the light is bright. Claims it will pump up to 100 psi is not correct, unless its stated for 13" wheel. My tyre is 20" and it needs to get to 38 psi. It got to 32 psi and stopped inflating i left it running for 10 mins but it would not pass 32 psi. I suppose iys the size of the wheel which overwhelmed the unit, but this was not clear when purchasing that it would not inflate 4x4 tyres, either i missed that part or i have bought another knock off item from amazon which apoear to be more and more lately. Its harder to buy genuine items these days Edit 04-03-22 Stopped working altogether, tried sending back but passed return date, need to send to manufacturer... good concept bad unit... Update 16-04-22 After swapping unit ( via email tennis with Ring techinical depart / amazon ) i got a replacement and in all fairness it works well. I was genuinely dubious about using it after first unit did absolutely nothing, this one topped up motorbike tyre in less than 1 minute and cut out as advertised. I am not going to get into an argument over how accurate the tyre reading is, simply because my tyre was low.. this unit pumped it up to a reading if the correct pressure ( as shown on dial ) which is a hell of a better place to be than the tyre was in the first place, if i want to be that anal over ot i will spend over £1000 for a true pressure reader. Yup not going to happen. Its easy to charge with mains adapter supplied, its lightweight and portable. For me its a full tick box, only 4 stars as first was broken and i have concerns over reliability. For now though i cannot go wrong with this product. Get a good one and you'll be happy with it

I purchased this item to keep in my motorbikes top box with a tubeless tire repair kit. Also easy access when in the shed to use for pre ride checks before going anywhere on the Motorbike. I found the tire pressure very realistic compared to a external pressure gauge I have and another manual pump I use. I found this easy to use, which is beneficial as the word instructions are to small for my older eyes. The picture explanation tho simplistic was easy for me to follow. I did go on there website and they do a download of the instructions, which I did which enabled me to zoom in to read on my tablet as well as my phone. PC also can be used. The only thing I wasn't much for was the screw onto tire adapter. but that was due to me not being dexterous enough to remove without loosing some pressure. So I purchased at the same time a Extension Pipe Inflation Nozzle Connector where you pull down a small lever to seal the connection. I got this of amazon also. Which I will review also as it worked and fitted perfectly. I noticed that someone mentioned when charging they said the green light keeps flashing. I charged mine with a usb 5v charger which takes longer than a also supplied 12v car charger adapter via cigarette lighter socket. The green light does go stable once fully charged. I like the idea that if overinflated you can press a deflate button and theirs still a digital readout to inform the pressure. It does a range of pressure types including bar and psi. With a 4 memory settings for your different vehicles or when taking a pillion or have luggage on your motorbike. So far I have only had to do top ups on my motorbike pressures and after a few uses its still on the green charged state. But for those that do green-lanes or something more demanding I would see this useful when tire pressure changes are needed for the situation and environment. Also comes in a nice carry case, which can be left on during use. Noise isn't as loud as plug in types plus all adapters are attached in storage parts plus a stretch pouch which stores the extension adapter, I mention above, perfectly. I am personally very pleased with this and it doesn't take up much room also on my Bike. Be also very useful when I do my cars tire pressures as theirs spare memory to do a setting for them also. Less hassle than doing at a garage, which can be out of my way at times.

No more having to make a special trip to the gas station just to pump my tires up. Always had a problem trying to use a gas station pump on a motorcycle tyre, not any more 👍

Habe mir das Gerät fürs Motorrad gekauft. Nach der Lieferung hab ichs geladen und ausprobiert. Es macht schon ein Geräusch aber das ist nicht sonderlich laut. Brauchte vorne und hinten 0,3 bzw 0,4 bar, das hat jeweils nur ein paar Sekunden gedautert. Vom Packmaß her sollte das auch kein Problem werden. bin vollends zufrieden.

instead of just diagrams a written leaflet would be better. You can work it out though. Great product. V handy. I like that it turn off automatically once correct pressure reached. You can preset required pressure and it saves it, so you dont have to preset every time. It's fab
