KALLIS' iBT TOEFL Pattern Speaking 2: Confidence

I bought this book in order to prepare myself to take the exam for the third time... Yes... For the third time. I needed to score high in the speaking section, thus I bought this book. It explains thoroughly every task for the speaking section. It offers practices and exercises for the student to prepare for the exam. It was easy to understand and easy to follow.However, it should not be your main study resource. It does not have a CD with the tracks for the discussions and questions, which limits the toefl experience. I would not recommend this book for someone who is taking the test for the first time because of the lack this important resource.If you are preparing for the toefl, try the Princeton Review and ETS books. They offer a good base and have audio tracks for the student to follow. One of those offered examples of responses... That is how I learned that responses doesn't have to be perfect. Additionally, you can go to your local library and use the online resources for toefl preparation and YouTube has lots of videos and explanations.Overall, this book would be a great practice resource after you have mastered the basics with other stronger books.

I was totally disappointed when I realized that neither the speaking books nor the writing texts came with the audio CD containing the conversations and academic talks needed to do a thorough pratice. I wouldn't recommend this series.

This is good for mastering TOEFL speaking test format. I have studied this book and realized it is very helpful for mastering TOEFL speaking test format. Good....
