1 Gal. Miss Molly Butterfly Bush (Buddleia) Live Shrub, Deep Pink Flowers

Beautiful plant, but did not survive the 2nd winter.

Mine arrived beautifully. I’ve purchased other items online from proven winners over the years. The bushes I ordered this year all arrived larger than I expected, healthy and with tons of new top growth. They will grow quite a bit this year, by the third year they’ll be giants. If u prune them in spring they’ll branch out and become bushier. I can’t wait to see the flowers. I’ll update when they bloom.

She came in the mailbox in a well packaged box. Looked a a little ragged when I took her out. Tiny little leaves some where bigger. Had a little tiny bloom. I put her outside and watered her. The bigger leaves fell off. Kept her watered everyday. Little leaves started to grow up the stalks. She was ready for planting! Only a week later now she has acclimated to her new spot! Now alot of big leaves and filling out. She is still small but I make sure she is watered everyday. I have high hopes for little Miss Molly. Don't give up on this little gem! Update: she grew and blossomed! She is still growing! Yaayy

This plant arrived today, Monday. I ordered it Saturday, so it was shipped promptly. When it arrived the soil was completely dry and the leaves were dried up and crinkled. A few were still green, but more were not. I have watered it and trimmed it and will see whether it recovers. I can't see how this was a happy healthy plant on Saturday when shipped and looks as it did today when it was delivered. This was to be a gift for my sister's birthday, so needless to say I am not a happy customer. UPDATE Tuesday: Instead of beginning to recover, it is beginning to die. The few small leaves that were still green and shriveling. I have it on a protected porch away from direct sunlight. If the seller is reading this review, I would appreciate either a replacement or a refund. Too late to use it as the gift I had planned, so I suppose a refund would be better. Thank you. Update: Amazon sent me a replacement, promising quality assurance before shipping. The second photo is of the replacement. I am not happy with the plant and won’t be ordering again.

The plant arrived healthy but with very little in the way of a root system. I put it in a pot with some very good soil and it still struggled at first, wilting pretty bad before bouncing back). Once it established itself it grew well.

I was quite skeptical about ordering a plant through Amazon, but I have specific criteria for a location in my garden and the nurseries just don't have what I want yet. The plant arrived earlier than originally scheduled and looked very good. Leave drop from shipping shock was minimal, and with some water and time in bright shade, new growth had already started before I could even get it in the ground. I look forward to buying more Proven Winners this way.

This plant is gorgeous the colors are just as expected and I repotted it in a bigger pot and in no time it just was gorgeous. I didn't want to pay the shipping and handling but I'm glad I did because this is definitely worth it!

Three stars because of the miserable condition in which they arrived at my door. Not a single piece of green to be seen; every leaf was dead and crumbling drway. It appeared the plants had had no water since before leaving nursery. Three of the five are now in the ground, have been for 10 days. They are showing green growth along the stalk, but none on the branches. The other two I repotted since they looked so bad I didn't think they had a chance ln h---. They have surprised me and are also greening up along the stalk. We shall see They will grow, but there may be no blooms this year. How disappointing. All in all, lesson learned. If you can't find the plant locally, forget it and purchase what id available. Mail order plants are like mail order brides; chancy at best..
