Not great, but good.
Assembly was frustrating on my own but once I got my power screw driver and a support box things went pretty smooth. On your own with just what they give you can be nightmare despite its simplicity. Out side of that I was very happy. Back support is terrific and overall very comfortable compared to some $200-$300 โgamingโ chairs I have had. The big question will be longevity which at this price point isnโt usually that high but I have read good things in the comments with the biggest issues being merely cosmetic. If your looking for a simple, comfy, and cheap chair than I would recommend you grab one of these. Perhaps get the extended warranty for a few bucks more if your worried. Update: As of 8/15/2020 the chair has held up well. None of the cosmetic issues others have had but the arm rest padding has 'deflated' permanently. Not sure if that is the right word for the memory foam material but, no big deal. Still comfortable, good lumbar support, and if I have to spend $20 for arm rest padding then that beats a whole new chair.

Very comfortable and the price is reasonable.
Ever since the pandemic hit, most of my school and work was done through my computer screen. With that being said, finding the right chair for long hours of sitting was one of my top priorities. I have been using a respawn gaming chair that I purchased from American Furniture Warehouse about a year ago, and I have to say, it was a good chair while it lasted. It was aesthetically pleasing but after a while, it gets uncomfortable to sit in. The bottom of the chair becomes like hardwood, and I tried to remedy the issue by purchasing one of those memory foam cushion pads you can put on your seat. It worked for the most part, but the chair was still rough to sit on. After scouring through the internet, I stumbled across this chair and I noticed how great the reviews were, but no one took the time to take any pictures or to really review the product. I am 5'8" and when the chair is on its lowest level, it is perfect. This chair has a lot of comforts built-in, and it rocks back and forth as well. The bottom of the chair is lifted a little, so when you sit down, you do not slide off. I spend probably 10 hours minimum in my room either doing schoolwork for college or logging on to World of Warcraft. For the price, this chair is definitely worth it. The assembly was like 5 steps and it was very easy to read the instructions. The package itself is not too heavy, but you may need someone else to help you in case you are not the strongest of the bunch. The overall size is decent and I do not hear any creaking noises like many people say when they get new chairs. I am about 190lbs and even so, it's perfect for me. I'm not so much on the "tall" side, so I cannot speak on that part, but I can say that this chair lifts up pretty high. If your looking for a good quality chair, but you don't want to spend like $1000 on a Herman Miller, then this is the chair for you.

Great char but Not Easy To Assemble
I really like this chair, I've only had it a few days but it seems really nice and I will update if I see any major wear and tear. I love the high back so that I can rest my neck (I am 5'8 for reference). I also love the arm chairs and just generally how cushioned this chair is. The only reason I am giving this product 4 starts instead of 5 is because this chair is most definitely not easy to assemble, at least it wasn't for me. To be upfront, I live alone and have little experience assembling things, but for me this chair took probably a couple hours to put together. I stopped and came back to it at one point. The instructions are lackluster and this chair is really freaking heavy if you're trying to put it together yourself. My first issue was with the wheels, the instructions made it look like they were push on, but it seemed to me like you had to push it on at a very specific angle in order for it to go on. The wheels alone took me half an hour. The other struggle with assembling it was putting the back on. You have to hold the entire back of the chair with on hand, line it up to the hole and screw in the screws with your other hand and while you are trying to do this the chair (since it is on wheels now) is rolling away from you. All in all I have no problems with the chair itself now that it is assembled but it is definitely a 2 person job unless you are talented and creative.

great chairs one damaged but fixed
I've updated this review from 4 to 5 stars.. customer service was EXCELLENT ! Updated review: they took care of the damaged arm in under 2 days, and have a replacement arm on it's way to me. I can't say enough how happy that makes me. I have to give the chairs 5 stars, and would give customer service 10 stars if I could. I can say I'd highly recommend this seller and this chair. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Original review: I bought 2 of these, they are really nice chairs.. they look nice and are very comfy, very nice for the price. easy to assemble but I'd recommend 2 people to help hold the pieces as you put them together. however I found the arm of one chair had been damaged in shipping. naturally I had one chair put together and the one with damage about 80% done before noticing.. so I've contacted the company to see if they can send me another "arm" for the chair. I'd have to say it doesn't' appear to be a manufacturing problem, and sending it back after we put it together and threw the boxes away, is likely out of the question. We figure we were out of luck , but thought I'd reach out to the manufacture anyway. I'm hoping for a good result. I can tape it, but it's always disappointing to get something new and it's damaged. new rule at our house.. INSPECT.. INSPECT.. before you get rid of the boxes and assemble any items in the future. so overall, since the damage looks like a shipping problem I'd still recommend this chair, our other one arrived perfectly. the 4 stars is only for the shipping damage. otherwise it would be 5 stars. I may update to 5 stars if the manufacture can send me a replacement arm piece (customer service did in fact send me a replacement) now 5 stars all around !

Please dont.
4 years ago i bought a chair that LOOKED exactly like this one. It was literally the best chair i have ever had , it laid back so far i could take naps in it ( and did daily lol) it was wide , my legs could open comfortably , i am a gamer and play long long hours in my chair , not to mention i have back issues and my chair is where i spend the majority of my day. 2 Years ago i bought another chair , and replaced the base on my old comfy chair as it had bent. Finally this year , it had to be replaced. I am now working from home , and with that and gaming i spend approx 12 hrs + a day in my chair. So back to amazon and found this chair , it looked exactly like the one i had before , measurements matched so i bought it. Within 10 mins of putting it together i was regretting it. I sat in it and immediately noticed the chair depth wasnt the same , the seat was narrow and it is hard , very hard. I have been sitting in a 4 year old chair with broke down cushions and after 1 day of trying to use this chair , i went back to the broke down chair. I tried to return it , its amazon right ? should be no problem. Its no problem if you want to disassemble and pay return shipping of $60 + a 20% restocking fee . Basically i would get back $20. I kept using my old broke down chair until yesterday when it finally almost tossed my napping body in the floor. Now im miserably sitting in my new chair in agony because there is a hard raised area right at the tailbone , my legs are crammed together and its already making noises like it is about to destruct. Please dont make my mistake.

After a year, I know what I do and don't like about it.
I got this chair July 13 2020. It is now July 7, 2021. Good: it's a chair it's comfy enough for gaming and working I can sit cross legged in it, which is what I like to do it swivels if I lean back in it, it is very comfortable. when sitting in it, it does have some lumbar support even when sitting in an upright position with the back of the chair not touching my upper spine. Bad: even in locked position it rocks back and forth a bit, which is annoying. It has gotten worse over time. After a year I went to change the height, and I had to physically lift up the chair to make it taller. This is likely due to wear, I had left it in the lowest configuration most of the past year. It seems to be staying in the taller configuration, but I don't like that I had to lift it. if I sit upright in it, there is no contact between the back of the chair and anything above my hips. It has always been this way since I first got it, and is not due to wear. after a year, the armrests are now very squished and worn out. I am considering my options for making them more comfortable again. since day one, the screw covers have just been popping out all the time. I've given up putting them back in. it has a distinct smell. cleaning it may help some, but I haven't been dumping any food on it. It seems to pick up human smells and hold onto them, but not soapy good smells. BO smells. Farts. The chair smells a bit, is what I'm getting at. Overall: 3.5/5 stars, would seek better option, but this wasn't bad for the price. It works for now and I don't have money for something better. I really do like that I can comfortably sit cross legged in it, and it has served me well enough. I weigh about 200 lbs and it hasn't had a catastrophic failure yet. While I like the shape of the chair, it lacks good options for backrest angle, and has limited height options. If I could get the same chair but taller with an adjustable back angle, I think I'd be pretty happy. As long as you make sure to set your tension settings correct, and have it set to the proper height for your desk, it may be very comfortable for you. It's certainly better than a folding chair.

Decent chair with great customer support
Buying an office chair without trying it first is always a crap shoot, especially considering how much you're going to use it. It might be great for an hour or so, but all day? Fortunately, this chair is fairly comfortable and while it obviously doesn't compare with a several hundred dollar chair, it does the job competently. I've got a bad back, so any chair will eventually make me sore and this one is no different. However, I can sit in this far longer than any other chair i have. If there was a little bit more padding in the back cushion it might be a little more comfortable, but overall I can't really complain given the price point. Some other reviewers have noted they had problems assembling the chair. I didn't have any problems like that, but I did take my time and started all the bolts first before tightening them. So basically I started each bolt, just threading a few turns each, and then came back through again tightening completely. It's a good idea to leave the bolt caps off since you will want to come back and tighten the bolts again after a day or two since they will work loose a bit during that first break-in. I did have a problem with the seat base. Two of the wheels broke out of the base on the second day of use. I contacted customer support and they were very responsive. After trading a couple emails, we agreed a replacement base would be the easiest way to resolve the problem. A couple days later, I had the replacement base. Problem solved. Altogether a great purchase...
