Good if you don’t need the cut off at the spray end.
Although I already had a 100 ft hose it was too long really so I ordered this as it looked the same. Although it does what I need it to when it comes to watering my garden plants, I cannot use it to clean my car because there is no cut off at the end I fit my cleaning brush attachment so I either have to waste water between putting the brush down to dry the car ( anytime I have to put the brush down) or keep going back into the back garden to turn it off which is a pain and by the time I have done that it’s the same wasted water. Other than that it’s a good hose. I am going back to my larger hose for that reason.

Perfect
It arrived earlier than what I espect. When the tap is turned on, the water pressure expands the hose to its full length. Once the job is done and the tap is turned off, the hose will retract to its original compressed state. Just remember to release the water pressure in the hose via the lever on the spray head to allow it to retract. As the hose is emptied of water this retraction takes place automatically

High-quality, easy to use and store - I love it!
Our old plastic/rubber hose is past it’s best, and has been leaking for a while. The plastic connectors also regularly break, so I decided to look for something a little more up-to-date.There are lots of these ‘expanding’ hoses on Amazon, but I choose this one for two reasons. Firstly, the colour. Most you see are green, sometimes orange, but this black one caught my eye. Secondly, the brass fittings at both ends would mean good connections with little chance of them breaking. It comes with a number of plastic connectors, if you need them for your set up, as well as a wall holder - but I’ve not used either. I simply screwed it onto our outside tap and connected it to a spray nozzle (also brass, purchased separately), and we were good to go.As soon as I turned the tap on, the hose expanded to 2-3 times its ‘resting’ size, and it stretches to all corners of our garden with no issues.Once finished, simply turn off the tap and then empty the water left in the hose (via the spray nozzle) and the hose shrinks back to its normal size.I love this hose, and wish I had bought one years ago - it’s so much better than our old one.Recommended.

DONT GET MIXED UP
I liked this hose but found it difficult to choose it from all the others on offer. everybody talks in metres nowadays so I measured out my needs and ordered but mistakenly read 50` as metres, subsequently it was too short so I had to buy another 100` hose now I have 150` of hose … Great! so don't make the same error. The only thing I`d say is once you`ve turned the water off you have to leave the sprayer on as it takes a little time for the hose to drain out before you put it away.

Looks expensive for a hosepipe !
I’ve purchased a few expandable hoses as I live that when your not using it shrivels back up so it’s easy to store. However I tend to find that the plastic adapters leak and become useless overtime. When I saw this hosepipe, expandable with metal attachments I though I’m going to have to give it a try. I highly recommend. No leaking, expands to the real length and the black look with the metal attachments makes it look top quality and expensive in my opinion. It came with a little wrap hook which you place over your tap which gives you the ability when not using to nicely wrap away. Will probably end up buying the 100ft version soon to reach my chicken water feeder haha.

Don’t waste your money 6weeks is all it lasted!
Absolutely rubbish, not even 2weeks past the return date &it’s broken, the hose has stretched a the end and will no longer take water from one end to the other, I agree with a previous poster, though thought I’d have better luck, buy a conventional hose on a wheel, they take up roughly double the space of this one&its worth it! I’m like many others stuck with a broken hose.

Good but...
I bought a 30 foot version and 50 foot one.The 30 footer comes with an all metal gun/nozzle which is truly great. The 50 footer cam with a nasty plastic piece of junk as a gun/nozzle which was dumped after I bought an all metal one separately as per the 30 foot hose. It's a really good hose and thoroughly recommended. The outer layer of both are fabric and will snag and tear on bricks - be warned.

The Hose Is Not 50ft Long!
I have previously owned a 50ft expanding hose and it works so well. This hose is no where near 50ft long. My garden is only 35ft and it can only stretch stretch that far if I really pull on it.
