So far, so good!
I bought this to replace the stock tank for my RO system from GE. The old tank was barely putting out two cups of water at a time. However, the stock replacement was going to be around $150, so I was looking for a cheaper option. Since this tank is carried by the same store that I bought the RO system from, and they have it labeled as an "industry standard" in terms of pressure settings, I decided to give it a try. And so far, it works great! Much better pressure, and I get a lot more water out of the system at a time. Notably too, the water tastes better! Maybe because it's not mixing with old, stagnant water that can't be expelled. Super easy to install! Bought a shut off valve fitting to connect the tank to the plastic line of my system, and managed to connect it easily. Be sure to use plumbers tape on the fitting. I also used an O-ring for good measure. So far, no issues with leaking, as other people are reporting in their reviews.

Bottom line: Would buy again!
This 14 gallon tank is perfect for our 4 person household with several aquariums. RO Water is always at the ready. We had to purchase an additional valve that goes in the bottom but not a big deal. We are happy with the build quality and it has been working without problems for a couple of months now. Unlike the pressure tanks I have used in the past this has the port in the bottom vs. the top.

VERY EASY, Great products
Perfect replacement to our old system, all we know is it was about 13 years old and we have had poor pressure for two years, right after last filter change by local company. Finally wanted to replace all the filters, tank and membrane all at once. It was very easy to do. Great pressure out of the new tank that lasts for almost 2 minutes on full pressure, then pressure lowers consistently for a couple more. It hits the front of our sink now. So we will not even need to turn the gooseneck on all the way on like we have been. Would recommend and will be back for more filters, etc in the future. This was the first time doing it myself and we replaced the tank AND membrane along with the filters for cheaper than JUST filters cost through the local company,

Wow, what a difference this made
We've had an RO system for six years but recently, the volume of water available was dwindling. I did some searching on the internet and learned that the problem might be that the diaphragm in the tank might have developed a leak. I also learned that these tanks frequently fail after five to eight years. In addition to ordering this tank, I also ordered a new tank-top valve ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08RSMHWJ6?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1 ). That allowed me to turn the valve off on the old tank and remove it without risking spraying water all over the kitchen. Installation was easy and fast and within a few hours we were back to having plenty of drinking water.

Good system, but pay attention to the fitting sizes.
I purchased the kit along with The APEC TANK-14 14 Gallon tank, the APEC Water Systems 3/8" Output Quicker Dispense Upgrade Kit, and (eventually) the APEC Water Systems Tank Ball Valve (3/4" NPTF, 1/4" Output). My purpose was to upgrade my existing system, the APEC Water Systems RO-90 Ultimate Series which I purchased in 2020. Overall I recommend the system, but I did have a couple issues, one my fault, and one Amazon's. So first the issue that was my fault. I originally purchased just the tank and the upgrade kit. I didn't look close enough at the specs and didn't realize that the 14 Gallon tank has a 3/4" male NPT fitting where the smaller tanks have a 1/4" male fitting. The upgrade kit comes with a new valve with a 3/8" tube outlet (as opposed to the 1/4" tube outlet on the standard filter set) but a 1/4" female fitting to mount to the tank. As a result, you can't use the valve with the 14 gallon tank. I couldn't find a version of the kit that comes with 1/4" fitting to 3/4" fitting adapter. I had to purchase the valve for the tank separately to get the adapter, but it comes with a 1/4" tube outlet. I then took the valve off the adapter and used the valve from the upgrade kit to work with my tank. Very confusing, but bottom line is it would be nice if APEC offered a 3/8" upgrade kit that worked with the 14 gallon tank without having to buy other parts. The second issue, which is Amazon/APECs fault - the upgrade kit was supposed to come with a 3/8" to 1/4" tube adapter. This is needed to adapt to the 1/4" tube interface on the faucet. Instead it came with a 1/4" to 1/4" union. So I had to go to Lowe's and buy the adapter. One other note, the tank came with a dent in the corner. Not sure who's fault that is, but it does not seem to affect performance so I am living with it rather that navigate the return process. However, despite these issues, I'm pretty happy with the system. I was worried that stepping the tube diameter down to 1/4" at the faucet would impact the flow rate, but it seems to have little effect. The flow is good and I have plenty of volume. I'd recommend the system, just be make sure you have all the parts and be prepared to make a trip to the hardware store if needed.

Does your APEC system act like its prostate is inflamed?
I bought my APEC system in 2018. I've done yearly filter changes, and the occasional RO filter replacement. The system ran great. Then several weeks ago, I noticed the water was coming out in much lower quantities. I could maybe get half a liter out and then it would just dribble. It was like it had an inflamed prostate. I read some other reviews and decided to buy this tank. Problem fixed! I get a nice, full flow of water and much more than a little tinkle. The tanks are only supposed to be good for five years, and then the diaphragm inside them slowly loses pressure which means the tank will fill, but you won't get very much water out of it since the diaphragm has lost pressure. After I removed the old tank it was almost full and there was over 2 gallons of water still in it that wouldn't come out of the faucet anymore.

Perfect Replacement Tank, Good Price, Fast Delivery
My 10- year old RO tank finally quit pressurizing my filtered water. This tank arrived quickly, and at a good price. Installed easily. I cut my old tank in half to see the failed rubber bladder inside. (Used my metal-cutting Makita circular saw. What a great tool, but I digress.) See attached photos to see the innards.

Works as intended.
Installed it in an RO system feeding a fridge ice maker and water dispenser. Water source is a well and the RO system includes a pump as well, to guarantee water pressure requires by the fridge. The tank is well built and seems to work as desired. The only inconvenience is having the valve at the bottom of the tank, making it difficult to access.
