Needs some modification, but does the trick
I use this in my sitting room/office. I left out the second to top shelf so my computer monitor would fit. All other electronics fit nicely underneath, but I did drill a hole in the back for the cords. Be sure to look at the dimensions and compare to what space you plan to put it in--had I not done this, I would have been surprised at how small it is. This definitely isn't high quality furniture--similar to what you might find at ikea--but it does the trick. I really like being able to tuck all the 'work' stuff (minus the computer monitor) away.

Not good quality
Two of the four wheels were broken. The unit was difficult to put together, and the screws stripped easily.

Sturdy and very functional!
Easy assembly!

Bumpy start; decent furniture
I originally wrote a 1-star review. In short, when I received the package, the two tall side panels arrived bowed in the middle with cracked paint from a packaging layout that enabled high strain during shipping; there was a small smear of (what looked like) blood on one of them; the wheels arrived crushed to bits; and one of the other panels had scratched paint.I communicated with their customer service and they agreed to send replacement wheels and side panels from overseas. The wheels took a while to arrive - I ordered this in early January and just got the wheels a few days ago - but they took GREAT care with packaging. The panels haven't arrived yet, but as you'll read, this is irrelevant now.I got impatient, so I decided to build the furniture anyway even with the bowed side panels. It took some serious effort to screw the shelves in, thereby straightening the panels, but I managed. For my purposes of using this as a space-saving storage area and desk in a very small bedroom, the paint cracks and scratches don't matter much. It's still disappointing.Regarding the assembly process and the finished desk:Pros:--This is the only space-saving fold-out desk on the entire internet that met my needs of storage + desk + space saving + comfortable. Some are incredibly space-saving but sacrifice storage space. Some are just small desks where the desk doesn't fold away. The next best one had an awkward wheel post underneath the desk that would have made sitting at the desk uncomfortable. Not only is this one better on all counts for my personal needs, but it's not too big while also accommodating my huge/heavy 17" laptop. I'm so glad this exists.--I'm a small 5'4" woman and had few difficulties with assembly. The fully assembled furniture is sturdy but not so heavy that I can't move it.--All hardware was in correct or extra amounts, well labeled, well packaged, and easy to identify.--The product came with four black triangular plastic corner caps. I put them on all four corners of the desk panel so that I don't accidentally scrape myself.--All furniture pieces were labeled with stickers to eliminate guesswork. Aside from the issue explained above, all of the other pieces were in great condition.--I didn't see or look for this feature before purchasing because I knew the cabinet doors had their own locking mechanism, but the wheels directly below that mechanism have their own locking mechanism, too. Cool!--The white color is soft, slightly off-white - it's not that stark printer-paper hospital white. It supports the cozy atmosphere of my bedroom while still looking crisp. (I bought a white space-saver folding chair to go with the desk, and the chair is so blindingly white it's almost blueish by comparison.)--The backing panels are heavy and sturdy! (They are probably the reason why the side panels were bowed during shipping). This is great because it counterbalances the furniture to allow significant weight to be placed on the desk. The furniture has never threatened to lean forward, even when there was a gap underneath the cabinet doors while I was waiting for replacement wheels.Neutral/meh things:--Make sure you really analyze the dimensions before buying! I did this and everything's fine, but I will say that the product picture makes it look bigger than it really is. The shelf spacing doesn't allow things like hardcover books or textbooks to stand upright if that's what you're looking for. I'm probably going to take the idea from one of the other reviewers and remove a shelf or two to accommodate larger things, now that I know I want larger things to fit in it. The depth is great, like a normal bookshelf.--The instructions were mostly easy to follow. Details for small parts are not very clear. I would've preferred some degree of written explanation, though. Some of the assembly relies on common sense and an awareness of how the finished product functions, so I accidentally attached the door locking pins upside down. That's my fault and was a quick fix, but clearer instructions about the smaller pieces could have helped prevent it.--The included screwdriver is small in head size, length, and grip size. Some screw heads got stripped and my wrists weren't happy. I had a much better time switching to a bigger screwdriver I already owned.--The hinges that connect the desktop panel to the middle shelf are a wee bit crooked, even when screwed in exactly where indicated. The result is that one of the holes for the door locking pins doesn't line up perfectly, so I have to wiggle the desk panel around a bit to get the pin to fit. It's a minor inconvenience, but it'd be nice to have that satisfaction of popping the pins up and have the desk fall right into place.Cons:--The cabinet doors scrape against the desk panel hinges and screw heads when I close them, so I have to apply some force. There are paint scratches and notches on top of the cabinet doors as a result.Overall thoughts:It's been a bit of a hassle, but I'm decently happy with it and it functions well.If I could change any features of the desk, I would increase the shelf spacing by just an inch or two and add a full extra shelf to the top.The desk panel is the PERFECT SIZE. I bought one of those big paper desktop calendars and stuck it to the desk with Command strips. It looks so sharp! Firstly, I get to see a big calendar when the unit is closed which saves wall space, and secondly, it functions as a desk pad and mouse pad to prevent scrapes.

Great buy!
I love this desk! It was exactly what I needed for a small space- a corner in my dining room. It was actually better material than I was expecting too. The back is the same thickness as the shelves, not just a piece a cardboard like usually comes with this price range of assemble yourself furniture. That being said, if you would like to make any holes in the back for cords to pass through, learn from my mistake and do it before assembling; it will be much easier. As for assembly, I was able to put it together with a little help from my husband for holding up bigger pieces, in under two hours, including breaks to get water/snacks for my kids. The metal pegs that are supposed to hold the sides in place when open aren't as easy to use as I'd like, but they work well enough, and the desk stays up. Overall this is an awesome deal for the price. The only suggestion I could make is that they make a pre-drilled hole in the back for cords to go through.
