How big are the mini cow tales?

These minis are about 2 1/2 inches long and just a little bigger around than a pencil. They came from an itty bitty cow. I commend you on your choice of candy. These are my favorite and this size is perfect to fit in a pocket.

What is the shelf life?

Great. Stay fresh for a month but still quite good for up to 6 months

Roughly how many cow tales come in the 2 lb package? I'd like to use them for a farm themed Vacation Bible School, so need to know how many packages to buy. Thank you for any prompt responses and help!

Hi Kathy, They're "mini" Cow Tales, about 2.5 inches long. I weighed what I have left, and counted them. 14.2 ounces left (so a bit less than half) and there are 34 Cow Tales (Tails?) in the bag, so you can figure (very roughly) that twice 14 ounces would give you just over 68 pieces, and if you do the math (34 (pieces) divided by 14.2 (ounces) is 2.3943 (pieces per ounce). Multiply 2.3943 (cost per one ounce) times 32 (ounces in 2 pounds) and you get 76.6 pieces. Either way, you should estimate about 72-76 pieces. Hope that's close enough for you. They are delicious.
