SmarterLife Exercise Ball, Yoga Ball for Gym, Balance, Stability, Pregnancy

I bought this exercise ball for different reasons. I can exercise with it and also I can use it to do what they call. Drumming fun. It's a good exercise and you can find videos on YouTube. It was very easy to inflate. It's not real heavy in its weight, but you can tell that it is thick so it will take a bunch of bouncing and not bust. It's very durable. Good price for the money. And you can sit and bounce on it. It's very stable. I really love the color. It's bright and vivid. It is a very good exercise ball to choose. I do recommend this

Used this while pregnant with my twins to help keep my hips open and engage my core muscles. Also used to try the Miles circuit. The pump works well. The ball holds air very well. Love it. Super nice. Color is pretty, too.

Just as described. I use it at my desk to work on better posture throughout the day. it was easier to inflate than other ones I've had in the past with the little foot pumps, those were so annoying. it inflated quickly and has held up. at first I was a bit concerned b/c it had such heavy creases from being folded, but they came out for the most part. this is my second week using it. I'm 5'9 and have really long legs. I chose the biggest one they offer and I'm glad I did bc I think the next one down would have been too small. Its good quality and I like all the color choices. I wish it came with a stabilizing ring though, other than that It's a great product. it's still sturdy and easily kept in place if you're sitting on it, without one.

I recently purchased a 65cm Smarter Life exercise ball to use as a deak chair. As I was useing it on a tile floor I put a mat under it to give it protection. All went well for about a week when to my horrorI I heard the sound of hissing air being expelled from the ball. Inspection revealed a small hole in the ball that resulted from either a defect or me rolling the ball over some sharp object (I very much suspect the latter). I e-mailed the company to ask if there was a warranty. A gentleman named Tim wrote me back asking for the amazon purchase number which I duely sent him. Shortly afterwards another message said they were sending me a replacement, no questions asked. For customer service they deserve 5 stars plus. After my first e-mail I had no idea if they would replace it or tell me to get lost. Assuming the worst I looked around on amazon for a cheaper replacement and settled on the Black Mountain ball and for further protection I ordered the Cando ball base. Having tried all three products I thought I would give a comparative review.... As far as functionality goes both ball work equally well. The material the Black Mountain ball is made of seems remarkably like the beach ball you had as a kid. The Smarter Life ball seems to have more substance to the material. It seems more rubbery and thicker. The Black mountain ball claims a bursting strength of 2000 lb. Fortunately I weigh just a little shy of that so I can't put it to the test, but so far so good and I really can't imagine that the Smarter Life ball would be any less strong. Both balls come with their various but different accessories. The Black Mountain ball apart from the plugs and pump has a small fork to get under the plug to remove it should you need to put more air in it; so far I have not had need for it but in a pinch I find a flat bladed screwdriver (if you're careful) will do the trick. As for the pump, I found it perfectly adequate for the job. A lot of people complain that it's a little on the cheap side. You pump, air gets sucked in through one side and out the other and the ball inflates. What more do you want for $15.50? A motorized pump? The Smarter Life ball comes with 2 plugs, a hand pump and a tape measure. It's the tape measure I liked. Its just a strip of plastic with a hole in each end. You wrap the tape around the ball and pump till the two holes align. That's when the circumference reaches about 80 inches. The reason I liked it so much is that I pumped the ball up till I thought it was pretty darned hard and I thought it still looked small. I wrapped the tape around the ball and still had 6 or 8 inches of slack. At this stage I began to think that thet sent me either the wrong ball or the wrong tape. Their balls are color coded (65cm is purple - and a nice shade of purple) so I knew I had the right ball. So I thought I'll just keep pumping till the holes align and if the ball bursts in the process I'll complain. Well, it did not burst and it was exactly the right height for my desk as is the Black Mountain ball (I'm 5'10"). Any time you need to check the circumference or put more air in the ball you have an exact measurement. The Cando base does give me some protection. The ball/base relationship is not a tight fit so you do have some wriggle room to move about but you can't move your pelvis around and have the ball move freely on the floor Mostly if you wish to change your position in relation to the desk you have to lift your body off the ball move it and then reseat yourself. The unit is one piece and I'm quite happy with it. Hope this helps somebody decide.

I originally bought this ball for my son to use at home while we are starting our digital school year. I figured having some flexible seating available for him would be nice since he will be sitting at his computer for a few hours straight. I myself, working now all day online, have been struggling sitting in a chair. The other day, while I was in an online training, I asked my son if I could borrow his ball. Wow, what a nice treat that was! The ball was a little small for me because I had bought it in a size to fit him, but it was a great relief for my back. And, I'm not going to lie, it felt good to bounce and roll around. I noticed right away my posture improved. Needless to say, I ordered a bigger ball for myself. The ball is easy to inflate and is holding the air in even though my son is now not only using it at his computer desk but he brings it around the house and will play video games and laying on his belly on it, sitting on it, resting his head on it, throwing it at his brother...ok, he's not supposed to do the last one, but he said it qualified as PE! Ha! My new ball arrived very quickly and has been a must have for me now, especially for my last meeting of the day. I have also used my ball for exercise. As a fitness junkie I have used in a similar manner to a bench, doing overhead presses, crunches, hamstring curls, etc. It's been nice to add that extra core engagement by incorporating balance as well. I'm very happy with both of my purchases. :)

Check the info to make sure you are getting the correct size exercise ball for your height. SmarterLife exercise ball is one of the few I found that guides you to your proper size ball. You will love the color assortment, getting a pump, and the enclosed band that helps you inflate your ball to the correct amount of air pressure. I'm very happy with my purple SmarterLife Exercise Ball.

I purchased the 65cm purple ball. After reading the reviews about the sizing of the ball, I pumped the gym ball by 1) insert the hole of the one end of the black measuring tape that came with the gym ball to the nozzle of the pump, 2) wrap with the tape around the ball vertically (when inflation hole faces up) then 3) insert the hole on the other end of the tape to the nozzle of the pump then finally 4) insert nozzle into the inflation hole of the ball (try to insert the nozzle deep enough so it stays in the ball during pumping. After this setup then start the pumping. Yes it takes a while for a small pump and a large gym ball. The trick to efficient pumping is "quick frequency" cause I found that if I pump slowly, somehow not much air is entering the pump and ball. Do short quick pumping and you can take breaks in between sessions. It takes me 5 minutes to pump and I feel it is not that much difficult but I see elderly people may need to take turn. NOTICE that you should be keeping pumping even though at first the ball seem not possible to reach the length of the tape. The ball is elastic in material so trust me it DOES REACH THE PERIMETER OF THE TAPE eventually. When finishing pumping, block the inflation hole with thumb quickly right after you remove the pump nozzle, and insert the pin asap to avoid the air coming out of the ball. I bought the used (opened box) item from amazon warehouse so somehow the exercise guide is missing. I emailed the SmarterLife through their website and they responsed me quickly and email me back the exercise guide after checking my order number. I feel they are pretty responsive to their customer (see the negative reviews for their reply) and stand behind their product, and that's part of the reason I chose this ball instead of other options here on Amazon. I will update this review after using it a while to see if it deflate over use. Sizing: I am 5'6'' with short legs and using this as a chair in front of my desk. 65cm works for my purpose. Though my thigh is not at 90degree to my calf (which was suggested using as a chair), I feel it I went with 55cm then my desk would be too high.

Before I forget I want to mention that the outside texture of the ball is my favourite. My favourite ball that I've had for 15 years has this texture, hair doesn't stick to it, I don't stick to it, I hate the smooth yoga balls that collect hair and have static and squeak something awful on my floors, this one is great! I followed the instructions, inflated over two days and the ball did not warp, it is a beautiful round shape as it should be and a gorgeous green McIntosh apple in my livingroom! At first I was afraid it was too firm when I got it to almost max out the measuring ribbon it comes with, but then on the 3rd day the ball had softened more so I can easily inflate it more (my house is perpetually 15-17 degrees so that may have effected the initial elasticity) 10/10! PS - I really appreciate the paperwork that makes clear the ball should come with the right sizing ribbon, and everything is clearly labeled so that you get the right size order the first time.
